Do you smell your new games when you first open them?

It seems to be a pretty popular thing to do. I never really thought about it before but it does smell delicious when a brand new game is first opened. I have been watching a lot of unboxing vids on youtube and people almost always smell the game when they open it. I have a sealed original copy of Demon's Souls and when I open it twenty years from now it will smell soooo good.

I do, its like new car smell. The fresh plastic, the game all neat and shiny... guhhhh.

Its like a ritual with me, and I do it in my car, especially since GI's Meagan Marie relayed a story on how her brand new game box contained a blank disc inside it... which is weird and probably super rare, but still something I am now wary of.

YES!!! lol, Everyone thinks I'm wierd for this, but I love the new smell of a freshly opened game. When FFXIII came out I went with friends to the midnight launch and on the ride back I opened up my copy and started smelling it, they were all looking at me weirdly and wondering what in the world was I doing lol. I also love the smell of a freshly opened pack of magic the gathering booster packs as well.

I totally DO! Which is reason #1,459 why this "on the cloud" digital-only potential future of media (such as video games and dvds) is utter BS and a future I am terrified of. I can only hope it never happens. Or takes 100 years to implement.
