Currently playing Final fantasy XIII all over again on PS 3, started Gears of War 3 on 360 recently but unfortunately 360 got RROD :P
Well, do you still play on PS 3 or 360 or Wii warriors? Or shelved those last gen consoles already? :)
This topic is locked from further discussion.
I still play many Wii games on my Wii U. My PS3 pretty much never gets played ever since i bought Wii U. Plus my PS3 drive went to shat and makes weird noises now, i cant even watch dvds on it.
Still play on my ps3 because I've missed a lot of awesome exclusives, the 360 has become a useless console for me seeing as the xone has backwards compatibility and all multiplatforms play much better on pc. The only reason I still have it is because of Halo Reach, I'm sure that'll be on xone soon.
I use the wii quite often. Use it as a gamecube for the component connection, a few N64 download games, and some other stuff too. I dig the gamecube controller but the analog triggers don't suit a few vc titles. Need to track down some other options.
I use the PS3 and 360 for Ultra Street Fighter IV regularly and I'm currently playing through Skyward Sword for the millionth time on Wii U.
I saw an XBOX 360 in my local Gamestop for $69.99.. So, I might buy that to hold me over for until I can afford my gaming rig.
I've played some games on the 360 and PS3 lately. I just beat Mirror's Edge on PS3 last night, and I beat F.E.A.R 2 on the 360 a couple days ago.
I play on my 360 and PS3 every now and then, and I'm currently using my Wii U to play Rodea, which is a Wii game.
Not since I got my PS4, and now with my new PC, I can catch up on the games I never got around to when I had my X360, including Bioshock Infinite, Shadows of Mordor, Dishonored... among others.
Shelved last gen consoles but thinking of hooking up my Wii again to play some GameCube games, plus I'd like to replay some of my Wii games and maybe still add to my library. Sold my Xbox 360 and all games when I moved two years ago. Still have PS3 but haven't hooked it up in some time, thinking about selling it, all my PS3 games and PS2 games and just getting a PS4, keep my fingers crossed Sony adds PS1, PS2 BC, and if I must subscribe to PS Now from time to time, my bandwidth seems fine so maybe.
Wii games however I've avoid on account my Nyko rechargeable batteries don't hold a charge anymore, and every time I get a brick of AA my dad steals them for his camera flash which goes through six AAs like they're Tic-Tacs.
PS3 I'd love to play my PS3 and PS2 and PS1 games on but I've no room in my current setup plus I'm sure my PS3 is just waiting to die on me, I don't mind anymore since most my favorite PS2 are on the PS3 digitally, and I can play PS1 discs on newer PS3s right? Anyhow, I've a feeling next gen Sony will nail it with full lifetime localized BC on PS5, and maybe add the kind of BC PS3 had on PS4... I hope.
The PS3 is in my living room next to the PS4, the XBone and the Wii U so I still use it quite often. 360 and Wii got banned to the bedroom. I only use the Wii to watch Amazon Prime though and only switch on the 360 twice a month to get the Games with Gold. And now with BC I probably won't switch it on ever again unless they fail to add Fable 3 to the BC list.
I got a ton of games on my Xbox 360 to play. Wish I held off buying the new gen consoles until I completed all of these games. Most of them are better than a lot of the new games to boot. For example halo 3/reach > cod ghosts/advanced warfare, gow 1/3/judgement > the order. Then I got some fable 3, darksiders 2, bioshock infinate, Max Payne 3, mx vs atv is awesome and some Burnout Paradise to name a few more.
@nethernova:
Fable 3 is backwards compatible.

I would still be playing the PS3 had mine not failed earlier this year. I've been in this constant state of procrastination trying to decide between getting it fixed, or just buying a new one.
Sorta. I still casually play Persona Arena on PS3, and I just started playing Xenoblade Chronicles(although I'm playing it on my Wii U)
I traded in my Xbox 360 to get the Xbone for very cheap from Best Buy though, so naturally I've moved on from that one.
@dragonfly110: Sweet, ive been playing Xenoblade again on the Wii U, wanting to try and beat it before Dec. 4.
@mesome713: That's my goal as well haha. I was able to buy a factory sealed copy from a used game shop for like 40 bucks the other day. I originally planned on holding onto it to sell later since it's a pretty rare find at this point, but the temptation to play it was just too strong.
@dragonfly110: Nice, thats awesome you found a sealed copy, its hard enough to find a used copy local.
Playing Persona 3 FES on PS3.
I am playing two Wii games right now, technically (Metroid Prime Trilogy and Super Mario Galaxy), but those are both being played on my Wii U, since Wii U is fully backwards compatible with the Wii, so I don't know if that counts.
I also periodically play Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim on Xbox 360.
Of course I'm still using my Xbox 360/PS3 due to PS4 lack of BC and the fact that Xbox One has BC but it's still not enough due to copyrights that MS has to face, so sticking to my last-gen games is vital, especially my PS3. PS3 is still getting new games and Sony will still continue to support PS3 as long as there's more games to be made for it.
I was never really enticed to buy a 360 just for maybe one or two game series that interested me. So back in about 2011, I bought a used full BC launch PS3 model from a game store. It sounded like a good idea at the time. Yeah, I'm glad how that turned out... the POS died after the fourth month. I still wonder on how the hell Sony got away with lots of launch PS3 getting YLoD... and walking away Scott-free. (though somewhat in time compared to the 360 RRoD). Microsoft got shit thrown at them and they actually (tried to) DIDsomething about it to compensate their costumers. Sony didn't even lift a fucking finger even if they had the exact same problem with their launch systems. I'll put this blunt. **** Sony for removing features on the later PS3 revisions. That was the whole point of getting a launch model in the first place (PS2 BC).
Rant aside, I bought a second (slim) PS3 model down the road which still works rather decently so far.
The Wii... I don't use it that often... mostly just for GameCube games.
Definitely. Hell, even though I have a PS4 I have still been playing my PS3 more than my PS4. Albeit I've taken a break from gaming at all for the last several weeks - after playing MGS IV a bunch of times on PS3. I do have a ton of PS3 games I still fully intend to either finish up - or some I still need to start.
Now I have Battlefront coming for PS4, so I will probably be shifting to PS4 gaming for awhile. But overall I plan to keep going back to my PS3 for at least a a couple of years. After that, if there' anything I didn't get to, I will probably never get to it. I also had a 360 (and a backlog of 360 games) and I determined I was done there, so I unloaded the console ($180 towards PS4) and gave away or sold most of the games. I'm not at that point with PS3 though, there's at least some PS3 game I really want to get to (Kingdom Hearts 1.5, need to replay Last of Us, some of the HD collections, a few RPG's, etc).
I still have my Wii, that's the one that hasn't been played in YEARS. Also have Vita and 3DS which I pull out occasionally (but not often). Gamecube and PS2... I don't play either.
I still play on my 360. I have way too many good games on that system to play, and most are not BC yet.
I still was using my PS3, but it appears that it now has one foot in the grave. So number 5 seems like it is about to die. I doubt there will be a #6. I may just take this one out side and Office Space it's ass.
I think I still own a Wii, but I haven't seen it for years now. No seriously I have one, but it's been packed away for at least a year and a half now. Why would I use it? I play GC games on my GC, I play Wii and Wii-U games on my Wii-U.
