Not really, though I went in today, I went and dropped off a bunch of coins at the Coinstar at my local grocery store and got a GameStop credit for no service fee, used it at GameStop to get $40 in online store credit for my Xbox One and $20 for my Wii U, so I can purchase ScreamRide on Xbox One and Affordable Space Adventures on Wii U. I'm done shopping at GameStop for the most part, I sometimes go to browse just to remind me what's out there but never purchase. And I'm not renewing my rewards and Game Informer subscription, reward amount to pennies, the best Game Informer stuff ends up on here anyways. I realized that buying games digitally I save more in not paying sales tax. If I want to buy physical copies on older games I'd rather buy new on Amazon, costs less than buying used at GameSpot.
I'll probably go back in a month to grab Devil Survivor 2, as I still buy my 3DS games physically. You simply have to get 3DS games when they come out or finding new copies down the road can be hard, and/or expensive.
While I was waiting in line to pay today, a dad was buying two Wii U games for his kids. He wanted new, guy kept saying they only had used. The manager was gasping at the idea the guy didn't want to pay a few bucks less for for used copies acting like that was crazy and uneconomical. After a lot of back and forward as to why they only had used he buckled. And payed reluctantly, deep breath sighing like he wanted to punch someone and I couldn't blame him. He knew he was overpaying and for used and he was pissed. I don't think he was aware there was a target next door, as well as a Best Buy and Toys R Us down the street, that one or two of those would have those games and he could get them new factory sealed, I felt like telling him, BUT then I didn't want to get kicked out of the store before I could use my credit.
