Do you think actual bombs will be dropped at E3?

I think based on the info we have, the delays we know, and the strategies that have been publicized, at most we will have some re-announcements but nothing actually solid. The rest will be some new IPS, or game ideas, but because of that,t hey really won't have bomb dropping potential until they are actually released and prove themselves.

The usual gaming franchise we expect to see medium or large will have the fan hype but won't actually be bomb drops.

Niche fan favorite games like a new Star Fox being announced would not be a bomb drop either.

I think this E3, will have some new big Ips (possibly) being shown but they will have yet to prove themselves, followed by the usual big franchises, and that's it, I have a feeling we won't see big announcements this E3. Unless it's like Crash or/and Banjo on Xbox One or something. MGSV surprise PS4 exclusive at last minute.

I got a feeling ths E3 is going to be one of the best in quite some time. Seeing that we have game announcements already, they have to be gearing up for more surprises at E3.

I know for a fact there will be at least one on Sony's side and it's gonna go boom.

Actual bombs? On E3? The world is a bit too preoccupied with other events to be bothered with bombing an entertainment expo.

E3 in a nutshell.

Nintendo: "WE'RE DOING ANNUAL ZELDA GAMES!!!!"

Sony: "FFXII REMAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

MICROSOFT: "A GOOD BANJO-THREEIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Now that would be a perfect E3 for me.

At the rate of these leaks I expected E3 to be over sometime Tuesday morning.

I don't think any shockers. Maybe a few surprises. That being said, I think a very solid E3...Fallout 4, Halo 5, New Gears, MGS 5, a new Zelda gameplay and I'm stoked.

My prediction is we alot of games MS and Sony showed last time and then games we'll see again next year. I'd be surprised the way this gen is going if either of them announce more than 1 or 2 games in between we haven't seen before. Hope I'm wrong.

@blue_hazy_basic: Promised a friend I wouldn't tell. What I can say is that Gen7 is almost completely abandoned at this point since the PS4 has such a large worldwide install base. Publishers and developers would rather compete for Gen8 dollars than spend time and money on keeping the old stuff alive. Don't expect a lot of 360 or PS3 games to be shown off.

I'm sure Nintendo will announce 2-3 new quality titles. I'm expecting we already know most of the games Sony and Microsoft are putting out over the next year. Sony is due to show off some great looking vaporware, though.

A Gears trailer that looks promising would be huge for me. Pretty much anything Gears related will do the trick.

There will be content worth seeing. Gameplay for Halo 5, Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and a whole bunch from Nintendo will be good.

But surprises? I go in expecting to be disappointed. I'd love to be proven wrong, but in I haven't been surprised by an E3 showing in a long time.

The Xbox One and PS4 shtick was funny though.

We may have a surprise or two. I think it would be hilarious if Sony was pretending to wrap the show then the Last Guardian developers come out on stage to announce the game for fall as if this was 2010 or whenever it was supposed to be out and they weren't late. haha

Bethesda OBVIOUSLY announced Fallout 4 before E3 because they wanted to clear the way for a major announcement next week (IE The Elder Scrolls VI)

I'm not expecting much of anything, but having a larger pc focus is kind of interesting.

I dunno, my hype is pretty low. I'm not expecting a single bomb from any of the three. Some expected sequels. Gears, etc. But nothing that unexpected.

I doubt anything will match Fallout 4 in hype either. Hopefully i'm wrong.

I doubt we'll have any surprises. Should be a great e3 though. But for fun I'll say what i would be surprised by from the big 3.

Microsoft: a new banjo game. Also announcing the new gears sequel.

Sony: announcing anything other than uncharted, killzone, ratchet and clank, or some Indies as exclusive.

Nintendo: showing the new Zelda, Star Fox, and F- zero.

Again, what i listed above i don't think will happen.

All of these announcements makes me think that E3 is THIS week.

unless ms has a backroom deal to announce or sony reveals guardians, there are no megatons dropping at e3. Fallout4 news already dropped

Most links have been TP's and studios related to Sony but not sony directly. So in terms of the Big 3, still some surprises, but don't know about the impact.

Fallout news isn't a bomb and is expected though.

I know Microsoft will be bringing out the B-52. They had to release some info today just to make room for the bigger news. In case you missed it they announced the 1TB matte finish with new controller today.

Sony will hang on to its 1TB until showtime and cows will act like it is a gift from the Gods. Ya know they gotta fill that dead time with something.

Well, there's likely to be many surprises, otherwise we wouldn't be looking forward to see what they are. Maybe some will be big, maybe some won't. Maybe they'll be good surprises, maybe they won't.

This E3 will really be as good as it gets.

Hard to keep info secret these days, but lets hope.

I didn't miss it., and I suppose technically one could call the 1TB a hardware revision but that depends.

Would something like Star Fox Wii-U having no online multiplayer count as a bomb? That's something I'm pretty sure is a lock. or is a phrase like bomb only restricted to exciting things?
