Do you think Call of Duty World at War will be the best fps this fall?

Do you think it will be? I thought that Far Cry 2 would be the best for sure but I've come across lots of complaints and I've heard good things about it as well. I think I'm going to have to rent FC2 to make sure but I've seen COD world at war and it looks pretty good and I've heard treyarch has spent 2 years making this game instead of a year. So what do you think will be the best fps game?

I plan to only buy one fps game this fall to hold me over till killzone 2 comes out.

I think it will be inferior to Far Cry 2.

Though it is quite a bit better than I expected, judging by the demo.

Your referring to call of duty world at war right? When I see videos of FC2 online it doesn't seem like its as good looking as it does on single player can you comment on that?

Also, if you have played COD world at war how much bigger are the online maps compared to COD4 because I find some of the maps in COD4 to be small. Although the graphics in COD4 are great its just some the maps get old and some the maps are not very big. Another thing about the maps is that once people play the maps they will start to camp in the same spots and use the same strategy but with a map editor that changes everything.

Saw all of the footage from Spike , it looks like it will be really great. I would rather play and buy resistance 2 though , just more interesting weapons to use , variety of enemies , and a more compelling atmosphere. I'll probably just rent Call of Duty and play through on co-op.

I dont think it will but i must admit the zombie mode looks pretty awesome.
I think Fallout looks very uninteresting i dunno why.
Farcry 2 looks very good though.
Downloading the resistance 2 beta now so i can test it out but i liked the first game so i have high expectations.

Yes but you can also kill zombies in WaW.

I've played the resistance 2 beta and its alright. I'm not blown away by it. The beta uses basically all the guns I've seen before except that chainsaw gun is new but its not that great. In the chicago level you only have like 3 or 4 building rooms you can enter I thought you would be able to enter several rooms in the buildings for sniping points and what not but no. As a sniper it takes usually 2 or 3 shots to kill someone its biased against snipers.

L4D is mostly a survival fps game not a traditional fps game.

Probably to me it will. Listening to a podcast (1up I think) and the guy was saying how a majority of the people he was playing with in the WAW beta when he checked their status were back in COD4. Not a great sign, but we'll see.strudel420

Besides the SP co-op I'm not really sure what else it brings. Its a shooter with Call of Duty in the title though, so it'll sell millions regardless.

Farcry 2 looks like the best, imo.
