Why not, besides i just want to see fanboys disowning it when its been the main FF to hype all this time. FFXIII has been a success on the 360, but more importantly, itll help the franchise stay important when JRPGs and Japanese in games in general have declined so much in the west.

I dont see the freedom thing being a problem either, they can simply use the ME2 method of 'funneling' at the beginning and end.

they stopped hyping that when it was announced for the pc after sony's e3 presentation (and then a few days later support dropped further when SE said they where making the game for the 360 but had "issues" with Xbox LIVE.)

Hopefully. FF13 was great, but if they nail the combat side of it & its story/theme is in the same league as FF7, I'll need to buy it, & I really don't feel like buying a PS3 just for it.

Well, given FF12 was one of the worst games i have played and somehow they managed to make FF13 even worst and less of a RPG, i have lost all and any interest in FF13vs Square is just over for me, they have lost any creative talent, taste and art they had back then, for years now

FF13vs seems like their very worst so fa, those overly serious emo charatcers are just laughable

Why on earth do they make so terrible charatcers ? The movie had the same problem, everyhting Square makes the last few years is mediocre to terrible, which is sad

i have high hopes for V13, its being developed by the kingdom hearts team, and Kh is just about the only SE series that hasn't dropped in quality, and has still managed to retain that..well..heart lol that so many of their titles lack these days. anyone who was played KH: birth by sleep yet knows that the titles are only getting better.

on topic though, i think it will. and why not? more sales, more ppl playing the game. doesn't matter to me, i have all 3 systems ;)

I have lost all hope FF13vs will be anything more than mediocre myself, after the disaster in FF12 and FF13, Square is terrible these days, the team is simply not the same anymore

if they made ff13vs multiplat and annouced ff7 remake id be happy lol but yea if it does that im petitioning for a ff7 remake since they been up microsofts ass this gen we did even get last remenant ffs cos they didnt make it 4 the ps3

Plenty of people loved FFXII and FFXIII in fact i put about 200 hours into FFXII last gen , FFXII was 9.0 here and FFXIII 8.5, so critically they're great games aswell. I dont know much about FFvs13 atm but i know i'll be picking it up day one regardless (on whichever platform i can).

As for FFvsXIIIs multiplat status, i'm not bothered really, would be fun for SW but it wont effect me buying the game.

I actually hope it does. I'd still get it for the PS3, but this gives more people a chance to play it. I honestly think it won't be that amazing like people say it will, but it's still a good thing for it to go multi-plat.

About it going multiplat: Don't care. I'd be happy if they released a PC version.

About the quality.. Well, I think FF13 would have been a better game if the had just taken another page out of the FF7-FF10 book and focused a lot more on the story side of things (granted, that's partially speculation since I'm not that far in yet).

That means I'm hoping they'll go with the more "classic" FF/KH formula and devote a lot more energy to the good old FF magic.
