Hoping that it will be cancelled is a waste of thought. Rockstar will not cancel it, because the franchise makes them money, and there is no legal basis for anyone to make them cancel it. >_>
No. There's shootings in a lot more games then GTA. GTA is a horrible shooter so I don't see why that game would get singled out. Also there's worse crap on tv and movies then what GTA offers.
No it shouldn't be cancelled. Voicing your opinion that you don't like something is all well and good...it's when you try to be a **** about it that it's a problem. I don't understand why people just won't let others play what they want to play and leave everyone alone. If YOU don't like it...fine. But don't try and tell everyone else what they can or can't play. That being said I'd just like to say....Jack Thompson is a MO-RON!!!!

Then don't play it. I will. How can anyone condone what's in movies like Saw? ...people such as myself like it. We all have different tastes. Mature games should not be sold to minors. But for those people old enough to play such games, it can be very fun. I can't wait for GTA4 :)
Um no. People like to **** about a video game, but have no problems with the horror movies out there today? Wtf. The movies in theatres are 10x worse than GTA.
You think the PS3 shootings were bad? Wait and see what happens if they cancel GTA IV. It's not like Rockstar's doing anything illegal. The games are going to be rated based on the content (and no "hidden content" this time, they'll be sure of that.) Cancelling GTA because of it's content would be like cancelling MOST video games, a good number of TV series, most PG-13/M/NC-17 movies, and all porn ever known to exist to man. There are worse things than GTA.
