I was just thinking about games that didn't get the score they deserved (I won't say what), and games that got really high scores that didn't deserve it (I won't say what again). Then I thought, "Does hype have to do with it?" Maybe GS doesn't feel a game deserves AAA if it wasn't hyped enough or even they weren't excited enough for a game to realize how good it actually was?Or they feel they couldn't give a game AA because so many people were hyping it, so they give it AAA. Or maybe they were just sooo hyped, it blinded them to how bad a game actually was?
Basically, I think that each good looking game needs a little bit of hype (for example, Silent Hill Shattered Memories), but doesn't need too much (for example, Uncharted 2), because it can play a big role from what score a game deserves, to what it doesn't.
So what do you think!
