Okay, once you pay $59.99, you have only a year to enjoy it because everyone will stop playing it once the next one comes out.

Depends on how many hours you play it or how much enjoyment you get out of it.

If eveyone online is moving onto the the next years game and paying the $60, then it is obviously worth it to them.

A fair price is the one you agree to for your purchase. If that means you buy it retail or buy it used for less or down the road once it becomes a greatest hit, you've already designated it as a fair price by purchasing it.

NO, I think they should be free and dispersed to needy children, who can't afford games of their own.

Of course, they can't afford consoles or electricity, either, so they'd just end up throwing the disks at each other in the dark :P

Huh, I thought he was asking for your personal oppinion, not for a lesson in economics. But I guess I could be wrong.

Companies charge what people will pay. Hence why I just had to pay $73 for Dead Rising 2 an hour ago (live in Canada)

IF people are gullible enough to shell out money for the same game year after year its their own fault dont you think?

Life isn't fair, never has never will be, your paying money for a hobby. Fair is not part of the equation its what you want, and how much your willing to pay for it, if you dont wanna pay for it then don't But don't even begin to think these companies owe you something. They owe you nothing they work for a living putting huge amounts of hours into programming, texture captures of players...ect

If its too much don't pay it wait till it goes down in price, wait till it gets into the used stores.. but there is no fair as part of the equation of a hobby.

That's not limited to sports games. And it's not true, though most people do move on to the new one a lot still play the old version until the price is right for them.

If the person buying it feels like it's worth it it's fine.

If that's all you like, playing a game for a year for $60.......am I the only one that thinks that pays for itself more than enough? The thing that really hits you is when you want to trade it in when the new one comes out......the value is like $10 lol.

Sure, that's less then going to watch 1 real game that last less then 2 hours.

I guess it depends how much of a sports fan you are. I enjoy watching some of my favorite teams knock the snot out of teams like the "CheatingPatriots". If they don't do it in real life *start up the game* I'll make it happen :P

I don't buy sports games, but I'd consider paying $60 if the roster was updated every year (for 3~ years)
