IMO his voice feels annoying since nintendo 64. super mario bros snes felt a little bit more serious. what do you think?

I prefer the old fashion Marios on the NES and SNES, so yes.

mario's voice is what makes me like his character. He would be boring if he didnt yell yeeepiiieee!!!!!!!!!! yahhooooo!!!!, hahaaa!!!!!, owoowahhwowowo!!!!!, here we go!!!!!!!, byahooo!!!!!, and best of all, "MAMA MIA!!!!!!" His voice is what defines his character, and defines the happy colorful games he is in.

i like the Italian gibberish in Mario and Luigi

I think he should be voice-acted, but less than he is now. "Yippeeeeee!!" should be saved for moments which are really yippee worthy.

I don't want to hear conversations between Mario and Peach, Luigi or Bowser.... but what is there is perfectly fine, for me.

Anyway, I really don't think Mario should remain silent because, as many other people have already stated, we wouldn't be able to hear his famous catch phrases.

He should remain without any actual dialogue, but IMO his trademarks sounds like the famous "it's a me Mario" should always remain.
