do you think that thw wii motion plus and project natal and the ps3 eye (i think, could have the name wrong) is the future of gaming and here to stay?

or do you think its just a novelty gimmik that people will get tired of and will wear off over the next few years?

I think you mean motion control, TC. And yes, it is the inevitable future. In Nintendo's hands however, when technology gets better, I'm sure it will be a good thing. Right now it's in the incredibly early stages, the Atari 2600 is to 2-D gaming as Wii is to motion control. It's essentially at that level of earliness and devolopment, as I see it.

Until they make the "Virtual Room"....you know what Motion Control and Classic Control is the best thing there is.

I think motion controls are a very viable alternative, and gaming will no doubt go that direction in terms of the main control scheme.

yes motion control, that was a mistake on my part

No problem, mate. :) But if you were asking if motion capture was the future, yes, it is. It's finally caught on as the correct way to perform scripted game animations, and weary devolopers like Bungie have finally started using it too, as well as ND and Konami.

Absolutely not. Some cool things could be done with it (and will be done with it), but it isn't "the future of gaming" by any stretch of the imagination. There are other things developers should focus on.
