Do you think MS will screw up PC gamers again?

Remember Ensemble, Halo Wars, and Phil Spencer's recent comments about the comeback of RTS on consoles?

they've been saying they'll do more for PC gaming like every 6 months so I expect nothing from them

It's the same old story with MS. "We must do more for PC" and then they do nothing special

or they just make it worse. GFWL anyone?

Do you think they have the balls to pull off "the comeback" of RTS on the consoles, and not announce AoE for PC? Or even worse. Announce AoE exclusively for X1?

I don't expect any new AoE game to be worth playing regardless of whether it is on consoles or pc exclusive. It's probably best to just pretend it doesn't exist.

Sadly, pc gamers screwed themselves up by stealing every game left right and center and expecting no escalation or reaction.

This simple fact is, console games sell more and make more money thus, these get focus.

Only through a free2play model and MMO's and casual bejewel style games specifically aimed at horny soccer mothers can pc gaming make a profit legitimately. That's how the industry went and the de facto is, pc gamers are architect in their own failure.

All the finger pointing,the condescending attitude towards console gamers such as myself, the anger at DRM and poor quality ports and so on and so on and son... it's hypercritical and an augmentation of reality to suit their own needs.

If you opt not to be "screwed over" the answer is relativity simples, support good game developers.

But looking at this, it's irrelevant. Pc gamers and hot wind.

Better get used to "Microsoft" exclusives, instead of "Xbox One" exclusives.

And better get used to the PC version always blowing the Xbox One version away.

I think Microsoft is probably smart enough to not let that happen.

Screw up... at this point, no I don´t think so. But that nothing will change is for sure.

The only MS game I play nowadays is Flight Simulator X. It's still my favorite game up to now. But, it's still rooted in singlecore CPU peformance and DX9. I doubt MS have any plans for another flight sim because the game had been taken over totally by Lockheed Martin under the guise of Prepar3D.

Prepar3D 2.0 brought DX11 to the game. Unfortunately, it will now cost me $199 for a new license. *SIGH*

MS must have gotten a tidy chunk of change (from Lockheed Martin) to be able to let go of the franchise and disband the ACES team.

@uninspiredcup: Pc gaming, brings in more money then all consoles combined. fact look it up. And cod lawl, not many on pc play cod, thats what the console kiddies play. on steam hardly any ones playing, on consoles 100k or more always on.

I doubt it, killing off GFWL was probably the best thing they've done for PC gaming which is pretty crap given they've been promising good stuff for years. I'd kill for a Rise of Nations or proper Age of Empires sequel, i don't know why it hasn't already been done, they'd sell well purely off the brand and nostalgia factor.

I think PC gamers stopped caring about Microsoft a decade ago. We'll take a look when they start doing something right, rather than expecting anything from them.
