first we had theaters, then the black and white TV was created a theater for the house, then we had better black in white TV's, then colored SD tv's, then now is HD, next is 3d. ( thats all i know about TV history im a disgrace )

do you think that one they we will all ditch are HDTV's for 3D, and everything will be in 3D, then they start showing 4D, when do you think that day will come? are you ready for it?

I think the whole 3D thing is a silly fad. It's not gonna take over.

Some people don't even have HDTV's, so 3D will be extremely low market penetration for many years to come, and thank god. 3D is the most annoying tech fad in a while.

Maybe, once someone actually comes out with real 3d technology (where you can move around the image and see it from all sides). Until then, no because all the current 3d technologies are stereoscopic, making them completely useless to someone like me with partial or full blindness in one eye.
