Do you think R* should do a HD remake of GTA3, VC, and SA?

So many HD remakes, but would you take a HD remake of these games?

And no, not the same as PC version. More along the lines of Zelda 3DS with new character models, textures and improved environments.

Or are they just the type of games which should stay classics and held in high regard for years to come? (i.e. don't get 8.5'd by GS)

i would on want San Andreas. Vice City and GTA3 would seem to outdated and would ruin my former fond memoies of them

That is the PC version. You're forgetting visual mods, there are countless of them for the GTA franchise.

Maybe if they remake the entire trilogy on the GTA IV engine, and sell all three wrapped up, then it'll be mighty fine.

I didn't know PC version mods would improve polygons on character models and environments, if it does then maybe like PC version with mods but R* would do a lot better.

they should definitely do a HD remake of the first GTA, HD overhead view.. that would rock.

If they're priced reasonably, I don't see why not. They'd have to fix the awful aiming controls, though.

Finish GTA5 and set it in all three cities.

I'm done with video games now unless they are HD Collections so I would love this.

I also want a Final Fantasy HD Collection (X and XII) and SOCOM HD Collection (1-3/CA. Even though MP sucked I enjoyed the single player)

Too much trouble in getting all 3? Maybe in a 15th Anniversary Edition with 5/whatevercityisgoodwithme included? Would be a nice set, I would definitely re-think my wait for a price drop vow.

San Andreas for sure. VC and III are too small of maps to bring out on the 360 or PS3.xTheExploited

We've alreayd played these games. Why do you want the exact same thing? Better a sequel or a new franchise, new style of gameplay, new take on an old franchise.

yes i do know. they would have to reprogram everything, start over from scratch. its better just to re-render everything into hd than do a complete remake

No. The series basically reinvents the same concept each gen anyway. Why do we need GTA3 HD when there's GTA4? Chances are GTA5 will be a current gen VC or SA as well.

If you wanna play the old GTA games go buy a copy for $5 or play the copies you already have. No need to give publishers $40 to bump the graphics up a bit. So much complaining about "milking" in SW and yet people eat up these HD remakes :?

..because new games are absolutely atrocious and are dumbed down to the point where blind people can play through on the hardest difficulty and not die.

Give me the classics remade. I would go play Socom II on my PS2 but only 100 people play it, if it re-released, it would have more people playing it.
