Do you think that Fallout 4 will be better than Skyrim??

If they make it this gen.

Most people I know in real life say Skyrim is better than Fallout 3, but most of the people that I know in real life who say Skyrim is better than Fallout 3 say a Fallout 4 would be better than Skyrim. So what do you guys think?

Hard to imagine it being any worse

To say "yes" would be an understatement.

Taking all of what we've seen in New Vegas and 3, combined with the engine and content of Skyrim, I'd say a big resounding "yes, yes yes yesyesyesyes!!!"

I love Fallout, while Elder Scroll has always been "meh" for me.

...easily, I already think FO3 is better than Skyrim anyway, maybe I have been doing the wrong quests ..but, Skyrim feels so ..Linear compared to FO3, I always felt I had more options to handle a situation in FO3, in Skyrim thats not the case, and I prefer the 50's/wasteland/futuristic vibe from Fallout, cant wait to see what they do with FO4!

It could very well, Bethesda IS taking smalls steps to improve gameplay with each game.

The angine overhaull alone would make FO4 a bit better for me (I really disliked how everything felt weightless in Fo3 and Oblivion).

Overall I thought the storytelling was a huge kick up from Oblivion to skyrim, they can get better still, but they seem to have grasped a few very good fundamentals now.

I liked Oblivion for what it was, I liked FO3 for what it was, Skyrim overall just felt "better" to me, even tho all storylines were cut down, the overall world felt more alive, and better thought out.

IF they made FO4 we can hope that they would keep doing advancing.

Also, they could indeed hand it over to Obsidian, FO:NV "Felt" like a true fallout in alot of ways, it felt less forced in its portrayl of cruelty, and the characters were overall quite good.

I have quite high hopes for a FO4. I Do hoewver hope that they will use some years on it (if this gen has a few years left). Rushing something like an ES or FO is a mistake in the first place, both those games always lived by the size of the world, and the worlds flexibility.

I don't like Fallout 3,so no.

Who knows? Could be, maybe not, I mean there are many factors to think about but I guess it all just boils down to your own personal opinion. I guess, maybe it could if they fix many of the previous issues and expand on what made Fallout 3 so great.

In a perfect world, the game would be a joint effort between Obsidian and Bethesda. Letting Obsidian craft the writing and characters, while Bethesda makes the world and QA (admittedly, they have less buggy games then Obsidian).

Sadly I think it will be one or the other, but for what its worth I spent more time in Fallout 3, but would have enjoyed New Vegas more if Vegas itself was less boring and it was less buggy.

Technically no but Fallout is a much more interesting universe to me than Elder Scrolls.

I prefer sci-fi over fantasy.

After seeing Skyrim, Fallout 4 is my most anticipated future title...

Fallout 4 would be my first Fallout game, like Skyrim was my first Elder Scrolls game, so I hope it is better. Skyrim is already amazing.

Is Fallout 4 being developed by Bethesda? If so, then no, it's going to suck ass compared to Skyrim.

Is Fallout 4 being developed by Obsidian? If so, then yes, it's going to be in the running for best RPG this gen.
