So, do you think that Little Big Planet will get an AAA score on GameSpot? I think so. It looks very cool and unique. I think that a 9.0 is about right...MayorJohnny
Wow you played it? Congrats.. I think.. Unless you have not actually played it. :D
Lair looked cool too... Yeah that was low but I am just saying :D
Did RPG Maker or Fighter Maker get AAA. Nope. This game is even worse.JiveT
 This should be sig.
Yes if it doesnt gamespot is a horrible review site.blitzkid1
So if every review site gave it lower than AAA they're all horrible as well?
:|
It looks interesting but at this point it's hard to tell.
Yes if it doesnt gamespot is a horrible review site.blitzkid1LittleBigPlanet could very well be a 9.0 title but there is a very, very real chance that one of the billions of things that could go wrong with it does so. Don't anoint it as a AAA affair when they haven't even shown enemies in it yet. GameSpot would be far worse if they gave it a AAA score because of its hype.

because you've played the game
I personally hope the game is great but gets a crappy score. Just for the fanboy hysterics

yes, i think it will score AAA

you haven't played it so there is no way of knowing.
I'm guessing AA but it's hard to tell. Gamespot tends to give the opposite score of other sites.

no, gamespot just gives their own score.

Yes,that's what I was going for.Can someone point me to a gameplay video that shows why they think this game will be AAA?
Seriously it looks to be a very mediocre experience from a gameplay perpsective. If you want to dress up some levels to appease your inner artiste I can understand why this would appeal to you but I bet you will need a keyboard and mouse to navigate through the menus.
The graphics look good.
I don't know maybe it will be AAA but it depends on how they review it. It's hard for me to imagine that if it was just a game anyone would care.
EDIT: I meant to say you will need a keyboard and mouse to navigate through the menus with any kind of speed. FORZA 2 had a great custom car designer function as we have all seen but the menu system with the controller made it very time consuming.
I don't know maybe it will be AAA but it depends on how they review it.
JiveT
eh,,... yeah, that's usually how it works :P

If they review it as a game or review it as a game maker. I'm sure they will do both but if they weigh each part equally the actual game part might drag it down a lot.

they are both aspects of the game. and the gameplay part might be really great... there are a bunch of levels on the disc, with enemies and all kind of great stuff. the best thing imo is that you can play it with four people with four controllers on one screen.

Most likely AA to AAA by the looks of it. I do want it to succeed though.
I want it score AAA, but due to its diverse creative ideas implemented into a single videogame, it'll be hard to tackle so many features effectively without at least one of them severely disappointing a reviewer. In another words, the more complex the game and the more things you can do with it, the more holes it risks to ensure reviewers to nitpick on. It's a risk, but I'll get the game nonetheless, simply because the developers attempt something that is near-inexistent in the console videogame industry.Brainhunter
