I don't know about best, but vice city is up there..

for me, contenders would also be Twisted Metal 2, Gran Turismo 2 and Tetris.

Theres no agreeable best game of all time.

But it is in my top 5.

Are Nintendo really that bad?

I really do not rate PS and Xbox games to be better than any of the above and many more, mainly on pc and nintendo systems.

GTA games are with my worst and overated games.

I'm sure everyone has their own different opinion because of the types of genres but I really liked FF9 because it left a lasting impression on me. Another game I liked was Halo because at the time it was ground breaking.

i guess the fact you can a drive a different route to your destination will make a game consider open ended and have a lot of freedom. smh

Vice cities Map was kind of dull, San andreas is certainly the best gta imo.

If you're strictly talking about gameplay and design then its Mario Galaxy for me. I can play that game for the rest of my life and not get bored of it. If you're talking about storytelling then I vote for MGS2. I seem to have a thing for convoluted storylines. MGS2's story had quite a large impact on my life because its what made me want to learn about philosophy.

Absolutely not! No GTA game should ever win more than a courtesy nod for the car chases and rampages. Rockstar acts as if they invented sandbox gameplay!
