Do you think Xbone has nothing to offer in 2016?

Do you really think that out of the blue the following lineup has become insignificant?

ReCore

Crackdown 3

Forza Horizon 3

Scalebound

Gears of War 4

Halo Wars 2

Sea of Thieves

All slated for 2016 and whereas FH3 is a speculation, at the same time it's pretty much given.

Why can't you just accept both console owners will have plenty of games to look forward to next year - and move on?

Man this thread and that other thread about non-dominant consoles smell like damage control after Halo 5 fiasco.

You won't see me arguing that xbox owners never have anything to look forward to, but I firmly believe gamers who aren't dedicated fans of one or the other system tend more towards Sony's lineup, which has resulted in the current sales disparity.

Cause all fanboys want to focus on is Halo/Gear/Forza and think that's all MS comes out with. They always overlook all the things that come out on the xbox like Playstation doesn't have sequels.

I don't think Gears 4 or Sea of Thieves will make it to 2016 (hopefully I'm wrong).

Also, hopefully MS will finally try to release it's games across the entire year like Sony and Ninty do instead of sending a bunch of them all in the same quarter (I have a feeling Tomb Raider will suffer a bit from releasing the same day as Fallout 4 while it could have done wonderfully say, in early September).

Those 4 games are the only one's I'm interested coming out from MS 2016. Crackdown 3 looks like a MP game only which I'm not interested so that's a pass. Halo Wars 2, no thanks, I'm almost Halo-out as it is. No more Gears of War for me. sick of Forza, and as for ReCore, MS hasn't shown more about the game after E3 2015 and unlike Horizon: Zero Down, Sony show more details and news updates but MS isn't even trying to show anything from ReCore so that game pretty much fell out of my radar. Having said that, MS is at least trying and so is Sony but as we head on to 2016, we shall see how things turns out.

BTW You forgot about Ashen, that game looks good.

Oh believe me, some Sony fanboys do have at least an Xbox console, they don't even wanna admit it. Fighting over who has the best machines is just silly to me. I just wanna play games and have what we call, fun :P

Of course they have games in 2016 as they should after having nothing all year until this quarter.The problem is that most of those games are unappealing and won't even sell well to Xbox owners.Some are indies and not all are confirmed to release next year.The best ones are still shooters with Quantum Break looking underwhelming compared to what they originally promised and after 2016 then what?

Quantum Break for me is day one. I love everything that Remedy makes.

Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4 and Scalebound are also very interesting. I have my eye on those.

Below, Cuphead and Halo Wars I'll be getting on PC.

Sea of Thieves I don't know yet. It's Rare back to it's roots, I just don't feel the same magic.

Not at all. I think it has a lot of great stuff coming up. I just think PS4's lineup for next year is better.

Same can be said about PS4, after 2016: then what ?

I guess The Last Guardian, because there is no way that game is coming next year.

QB and GeoW4 looks good. But not enough to warrant a buy for me. I'll stick to PS4 for now.

It's just happen that the ps4 has more, but it's fine.

As much as I'd love for it to happen, I highly doubt that Sea of Thieves will make it into next year.

That being said, Xbox One does have a really good lineup next year. Sony has it beat for me personally just because Persona 5 exists, but that's definitely not a list of games to look down upon.

For me, there's more of interest on X1 than the PS4 which is a tad odd. Nothing in the lineup beats my anticipating for Uncharted 4 or Persona 5 though, so there's that.

I also wouldn't be surprised by a couple delays in this list, like @Desmonic said. Just seems to be the nature of the industry these days.

Thus far Xbox has three exclusives in 2016 that I will probably buy, Wii U has two exclusives in 2016 that I will probably buy, and PS4 has only one exclusive in 2016 that I will probably buy, but the PS4's one exclusive is my most anticipated game of 2016.

I'm really looking forward to Cuphead and Scalebound.

Ms may have some ammo in 2016, but they'll be taking a whipping from sony in the 1st half of 2016 from SF5 and UC4 alone.

It has VERY little to offer me besides Scalebound and ReCore but that's just me.

I hope Quantum Break comes to PC. Otherwise, I'll be forced to buy or rent Xbox One, and I don't want to do that, for now. That thing looks amazing.

Yes, bone has games in 2016 but the metric ton of games PS4 has over it the same year is staggering. Those games are nice for people who already owns the xbone but for people who look at the lineups of both systems in 2016 PS4 clearly has the better library in terms of number and variety.

Hell 2 mega ton level games (UC4, Street fighter V) release just in the first quarter alone where games like ReCore doesn't even have any gameplay shown and heavy hitters like Gears won't see the light of day on the bone for another year.
