Do you think xbox 360 is going to stomp ps3 for the remainder of this year?

Halo reach is coming out then kinect,then the kinect bundles. I think xbox 360 is going to beat ps3 in sales by alot in usa. Usa is all that matters for me.

PS3 is taking heavy haymakers and getting knocked down and bloodied, Xbox 360 is looking for more blood, wouldnt wanna be a PS3 the rest of the way, a price drop is the only chance for the PS3 to keep the momentum that it gained since it released the Slim.

I wouldn't be surprised, though I doubt Kinect will provide much of a boost in terms of hardware sales.

Sales at my local Walmart are all that matters to me, and when I ask employess which console sells, the answer is always the Wii.

The 360 is a better system imo so yes (and this saddens me becuase final fantasy 14 is not comming out on 360 so i have to get in on Ps3 and Pc :( )

Definitely, PS3 has no chance this year. Even if it had 10 strong unknown exclusives, Halo reach would stomp all of them combined. That's just one game. Xbox has better multiplatforms, better online, bigger community, better graphics.

Have you got links? Europe largely goes untracked, as we don't have anybody capable of pulling in the sales data from numerous countries.

Its only really "Stomped" it for the last two months. thats it. I dont know, im sure itll continue to sell well.

I honestly dont think Kinect will boost any 360 sales. Casuals have already sided with the Wii as far as motion controls in gaming go. Xbox owners just don't care for that Wii style play. Halo reach and the slim 360 are the only candidates for a price surge.

I really would like Kinect to succeed, but its not doing anything special in the gaming community. M$ needs to get some new killer exclusive IPs like Sony.

Why would they not focus on this gen when theyre doing so well? Theres a common misconception that PS3 is failing this gen.

Call me weird, stupid, and whatever else you want. I am thinking that the game HALO Reach will sell millions of copies. Quote me on that all you want.

However, I don't think there will be a huge jump in hardware sales like people are predicting, because most people already bought a 360 with Halo 3.

There will be a definite jump in 360 sales, and noticeable, but not huge significant and winworthy.
