I do.
Great arsenal that could be expanded, lots of personality.
Just a straight up fun shooter! One of the success stories of the year! :D

Of course, but hopefully done right and with the flaws fixed. They totally downplayed the comedy aspect and made it some faux serious Sci Fi shooter with crazy weapons (to the point that the MW2 inspired parody ending was played WAY too straight), and when they did make jokes they were just d*ck jokes so immature my 3 year old cousin asked me if I had any more mature videogames to play.
As a whole, removing the weapon limits, improving the point system (to take into account multipliers, combos, and other Tony Hawk-ish things), letting the secondary fire be instant (instead of just being a charge to press primary again), and making sure to prevent odd gamebreaking bugs would be a big point in its favor.
I enjoyed Bulletstorm but I'm fine with it being a single entry IP. A sequel is very unlikely anyways given the mediocre sales numbers.
[QUOTE="illmatic87"]Yes, it was great fun despite alot of missed opportunities with its corridor linearity, momentum breaking cover and the lack of basic combos or multiplier system. I liked the vulgar language, I think it just needed to make it clear in that the game is taking the piss; if not that, go the so-bad-it's-good route. I think the game didnt do too well due to its poor multiplayer.biggest_loserWhat do you mean basic combos? There were heaps.
Um no, there weren't.
You got points for stuff and it was neat, but it was basically a glorified XP system that didn't take as much advantage of the stylish kills as it could have. If I killed 3 guys with a headshot in 2 seconds, that x3 should mean more then just telling me what I did and giving me normal points, it means I should get 3 times the points for such a sweet feat. I imagine it would be a bit harder to balance, but if I do a grind to manual in Tony Hawk, I don't want them to ignore the fact that I've done two awesome things in rapid succession and just count them as if I did them each seperately.

Sure. I'd like it to be a bit more open and with conventional FPS movements such as jump without needing to be prompted to. I too liked the potty mouth.
Nah, I started playing but after a while I just got bored, it just felt repetitive to me. I get the feeling that that the dev got too concerned with poking fun at other fps games, they just got carried away.
When you make a joke that's fine, when you force a joke it gets boring, fine ok I get it, the fps genre is choke full of cliche stereotypes.
Someone must have hijacked b_l's account.
I want a sequel as I like the characters, including the villain. I don't think the gameplay model can sustain a sequel though. I'm not worried about PCF's ability to create awesome worlds and guns to play with (I mean look at Painkiller and every other game former PCF developers touched), but another skillshots game sounds like a bad idea to me. If anything they should be a secondary element, like in Necrovision.
Anyway the game was a massive bomba so there's no hope for a sequel :( Each and every one of you who ignored this gem deserves more crappy COD copycats instead of original games.
I just hope I won't have to wait another 6 years for a new PCF game :/
Even though I think it's funner than Gears, it's more of a one-time-franchise than a trilogy. But the ending of the game hints a possible sequel.
I don't know. I mean the story isn't over yet, but if there is a sequel it must be on a different planet with more variety of weapons/environment/enemies. I got bored of Bulletstorm very fast.
only for them to make parodies of everything else....like Duty Calls.
eboyishere
The next parody should be called, Fields of Battle. They could even make the joke campaign exactly the same, you know, as the joke.
