The Stages suck a bit, but the Characters are some of the best I've seen in Fighting Games.

The stages are a bit of a mixed bag. Some look mediocre, others look fantastic. The stage in the first pic is probably my favorite, as it has some great lighting and fog effects.

The character models arn't the only things that look excellent. The lighting effects, fog effects, animations, and physics are all top notch. Yes the game does look uneven in parts, but at it's best I think it blows everything else on consoles away.

Good ol' System Wars, always 100% against the idea that a multiplat might actually be better looking than the hottest exclusives. God forbid the PS3 and 360 have a stalemate - then we wouldn't have anything to argue about!

Oh and as an aside, I'd say other than Soul Callibur, DOA was probably my favorite fighter but I'm just not into the genre these days but once they evolve a bit more, I'm likely to get back into the fight. :P

Yep, the graphics are great, specially the character models, they have so much detail and the movements are great too...sadly the stages aren't that good, some of them look fantastic, like the jungle one, some others are plain and boring, like the war zone stage, i wouldn't call it the best looking game on consoles, but i definitely think is the best looking fighter.

When you see it running down their cheeks in some cutscenes it looks fake, but ingame after the fights you can see a glowing effect in the faces that resembles sweat and that one looks pretty good.

Also i'm agree with the faces, they are damn good, hell Tina and Helena are actually pretty.

Darksiders does not run at 1080P on consoles.

It renders at "1152x640" which is not even HD.
