Does anybody here actually plan on getting Crysis 2 on consoles?

Really depends on the requirements, if they are too high I'll just get in on the PS3 so I konw it'll be stable.

Yeah, because ill laugh at Cows when a port to consoles/multiplat looks better than UC2 and Killzone 2. So they can SHUT UP about it not being able to be done on

I have crysis on pc and play on high/very high but ya I might get it on the ps3 if I actually build a curiosity for the second one. As of now, its off my radar.

i won't be getting it period, the first one was ok but killzone 2 made so many fps boring and i don't think crysis 2 will be an exception

I will be getting the PC iteration of Crysis 2.

If it turns out to be as good as the first then yes.

I wasn't able to play the first since I don't have a computer, so if the sequel ends up being a strong title I'll most likely get it.

i upgraded my PC just for Crysis and was really disappointed. I spent more time staring at the landscapes than i did playing the game. such a waste of money.

I just finished playing Crysis for like, the fifth time. Totally awesome game (both Crysis and Crysis Warhead), and I really can't wait for Crysis 2. And yes, I will be getting the PC version of the game on Steam. Crysis was completely desginged for the PC in mind, and although Crysis 2 will work fine on consoles, the PC edition is the cutting-edge version. I normally buy sequels on the same platform I bought the original game on, mainly because it keeps things more organised, and I don't have to get used to new controllers or manage a new friends list etc.

So what about you guys? I know many people havent played Crysis, mainly because your PC wouldn't run it well. Do you plan on getting Crysis 2 for your console? Do you plan on getting a new PC to play it? Or, are you a PC gamer who played Crysis 1 on PC, and might get the sequel on consoles to play online on your XBL/PSN friends list?

It's being developed for the PC, with the console versions being ported by Crytek UK (formerly Free Radical).

PC, I wont be be putting future 2x HD 5770's to waste ;)

Of course i will, i own every Crytec game to date and am looking forward to #2. And when i get my new card, the first thing i'm loading is Crysis, just for a graphics test (an extremly fun graphics test at that:P).

The only problem i had with Crysis was the aliens. but i can forgive crytec for that cause of the alien ship level (my buddy was over when i was playing that level and asked what movie it was:lol:)
