I think that technically Crysis and Warhead are fantastic in terms of new software and technology. However MGS4 also did a fantastic job at rendering lifelike models on console hardware. PC are always going to be superior because they have unlimited hardware to utilize, and games can be made (like crysis) which could barely be made on modern systems. However bringing out games on consoles, that are advancing graphics, on static hardware is also a very worthy programming feat.
I was a console gamer and recently built my gaming pc... and i do find that pc games in general have better graphics.
PC gamers act like they are so much better with their Awesome graphics, but console games just DONT CARE.RyanShazamThis. I have more fun playing games that are better than Crysis.

[QUOTE="starwarsgeek112"]That anything on the consoles looks better than Crysis?smokedope420
killzone2 looks better
not character models or foliage.
but the sky/lightning and atmosphere owns crysis.

Not every fanboy does. I don't compare each pixel between platforms, because it is going to effect my enjoyment of the game. It's not like I will enjoy the game less because the PS3 version or something looks slightly worse. PC gamers always bust in and go, "D@ Crys!s look b4tt4r th@n @ll yo' n00b g@m4s."

And I do care about how the game looks somewhat. But I am not a huge graphics whore.

Half the people that say they have played better games than Crysis probably never played it, it isn't just good graphics it is also a great fps with fun freeflowing combat that forces the player to change tactics on the go. Also with mods that enhance the graphics you can make the graphics look realistic or trippy with overdone lighting.
I also own a PS3 and MGS4 has good character models but terible shadows and low res textures. Killzone 2 also has low res shadows and overdone bloom that makes it hard to see any shortcomings in the graphics depatment.

Half-Life 2 has way more diverse gameplay and environments. The guns in Crysis aren't very varied and the fanboys' boast about how the suit's abilities permit an impressive range of gameplay styles when approaching a situation is overstated.
Speed - You run faster. Not very useful in combat because it depletes the suit's energy.
Strength - You jump higher. Getting close and personal with this ability isn't too wise and not very tactful, at least not when playing on a high difficulty.

No in speed mode you run faster normally and in strength mode your aim steadies so you can snipe better. It also allows you to fall longer distances and punch down walls as well as throw enemies long distance.
Have you even played Crysis?
And yes I have finsished all the Half Life games and they are great with a great atmospere and story, the gameplay isnt diverse however with standard shooting and driving segments. As well as linear environments, with the exception of HL2 ep2 white forest area.
