I've seen old charts on Neogaf when PS4 were only leading by a bit...
VGchartz is a joke
Then do you have an idea of which source for international sales isn't a joke?
The only reason why VGChartz isn't considered a credible source is because technically, credible sources don't exist for 'sold through' figures. Hardware manufacturers don't actually know how many of any product is being sold to consumers, but they gauge overall sales based on demand by the retailers. In short term, retailers may over-purchase a product out of anticipation, leading to a false perception of sales, but in the long term, retailers would not continue demanding a product if it isn't selling through to consumers.
So if Sony has sold 60 mil ps4s to retailers from launch till now, they can roughly guess that perhaps 90% of that amount changed hands from retailers to consumers, but they don't know for sure. And without even going into detail about how NPD obtains their results, and let's say NPD's results are spot on.....Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo still do not know their international figures with certainty.
