none of those games have a release date except mario kart like i already said... and i am sorry but i need more third party games... you failed badly.

all these new games being announced on ps3, 360 and pc with no wii verison even being mentioned... just recently id with rage and the next castle wolfenstein... -Renegade

Yeah, I've noticed.....I knew that's what this thread would be about.

Here, and I'll say it one more time..............When (if ever, but very doubtful) Wii passes up the sales of the PS3 and 360 COMBINED is when it will get more support than the PS3 and 360. It's just that simple.

Nintendo has never been about 3rd party. But that being said, I think you'll find that will change alot this gen. I expect TGS and Leipzig to be huge for Nintendo. Developers can't and won't ignore sales. DS is proof of this. Oh, and if anyone failed, it's you with this pointless thread. We all know Nintendo isn't going to get the 360/PS3/PC mulitplats. What Wii fans miss out on 3rd party, make up for in 1st party.ShaneBeck

well when i buy a console ilike to buy it for current and future titles and wii doesn't have any future titles beyond the big three this year that makes me want to buy one..

I think 3rd parties are cautious for developing for the Wii since the top selling games on the console are 1st party, pretty much all of Nintendo's software dominates the chart.

It's actually very similar to the situation with DS. However, SE managed to crack the barrier and now have strong software sales for DS, as well as Nintendo dominating software sales too.

Will 3rd party devs be able to crack the barrier with the Wii? Who knows?

Developers aren't what you'd call "smart". They don't make games for the most attractive (i.e., lowest development cost and broadest/soon to be biggest audience) console. They're out of touch with the emerging industry.

If anything, now is the time for any up and coming developer to make a name for itself. Here we have the big developers paying too much attention to the minority, while a smaller developer now has the opportunity to shine in a market that is starving for hardcore games.

I honestly hope a new developer comes out with a great little title that outsells and outscores some of the more traditional, successful titles. It'd be a like a big "told you so" to these 3rd parties who have obviously lost touch with what people want.
