Does Gears 2 get better??

Ok so I buy gears 2 because 360 fans go on about how good the single player is and im up to the bit where they just went underground and im using those rockworm things as cover, So far it's the most overated uninspired game i've played I just want to know if it really picks up or is this as good as it gets for gears 2

It's all opinion. I was personally disappointed with Fable 2 for instance, finding it way too easy and shallow for the type of game it is. I thought ToV and Fallout 3 were way better, and I enjoyed Valkyria Chronicles for my PS3 a whole lot more as well.

On the shooter front, Gears 2 and Resistance 2 were both meh, more of the same. Frankly, I expect that KZ2 will also be more of the same. They are all generic shooters IMO, and the whole genre is desperate for some innovation. I can't wait for some more exploding barrels in KZ2 :(

Bottom line, if you aren't into Gears 2 yet, I doubt very much you will find it getting better. I played through once on hardcore and I don't even have the desire to play the SP again on insane :(

Someone asked the TC what his gamertag was and he wont respond to it. He does not have this game or a 360 lol. He just saw the rockworm part at his friend's house.

I beat the game on insane and had a great time doing it.

A.) You actually own the game

B.) And you have taste

then you will be blown away.

Dark Sector? No that game was such a pale knockoff. I know that you have to suspend disbelief for a comic book but its too much when you have to accept that a random chemical accident produces medeival armor and weapons on a person. They should have called that game "Chuck the glaive and chop people in half" because thats the only thing that almost made me keep the rental.
