I was actually impressed by what I saw, but I still think they should have pushed the release back and made it a PS4 game.

I understand that they'll make bank off the PS3 install base, but this game could have really sold some PS4s while showing the systems hardware strength.

It will look good for PS3, but not next gen good. Polyphony on PS4 will be someting to see though.

lvl 10 rule was put in place about a year ago I think.  With the new tou (that allows us to troll each other and cuss each other out) there was an influx of new trolls.

The lvl 10 rule was supposed to stop this place from being flooded with troll topics... it doesnt really work and in some cases good low level posters get their topics locked because of it.

But its better than nothing I suppose.

Speaking as a pc gamer, my games generally look next gerneration, generation compared to this.

For a console game though and the consoles standards and for the console gamers who play console games on consoles at consoles standards, it's good. But as I say, pc gamer standards so, I dono. Maybe. Who knows.

I hear they have also updated the weather effects and night effects, this is very impressive for a current gen game. Night racing in the rain on Bathhurst is going to be an amazing experience.

Demo is irellevant, as this looks way better, alot of people don't even think it's running on a PS3,

I can not wait to see what they actually do with the next gen though.

During gameplay it's a different story. (read: horribly pixelated shadows and cardboard trees in GT5)

The screens you pasted look more like an average graphics mod for GT5.

It looks good IMO. Definitely better then that 720p, 20fps crap Drive Club for the current gen systems like the 360,PS3 and PS4.. But its nowhere near a true next generation gaming machine like the Xbox One.
