ok hi i am thinking to get an xbox 360 or ps3 more to the 360 side though i just wanted to know ok bout the hardware of both i no that the ps3 is a bit superior than the xbox but do those numbers the ps3 have really count and can the xbox really hang with it after a couple years ??
Microsoft seems to be doing nothing to correct thier hardware problems. I know a lot of people who have been through 3-6 consoles. Just save yourself the headache and inconvenience and get a PS3, they are going to come out on top anyway!
If you are looking at the hardware aspects, you should probably go with the PS3. More reliable, blu-ray, all that junk.
But that really isn't a good reason to get a console. Sure I understand where you are coming from, but what gaming consoles are about are the games. Look at each console, which has a more appealing current library and a more appealing future library to you, and decide from there.
