Even though PSN finally seems to be getting some legs (at least Sony's talking about online more now),  XBL still has a huge advantage.  Gradually you will be seeing more and more games offering vision cam windows during games online.  I know that some of you cows will bring up the annoying kids online,  but here's the thing.  If you can't get some good people on your friends list (meaning people who don't scream and yell and act like most people here in SW :P) then apparently you're one of them.

I personally have been gaming with the same core group of people since XBL launched.  Great group of people who all respect each other and we actually have great convos during games.  btw,  C&C won't be that bad on the 360,  after all, LoTR: Battle for Middle Earth scored the exact same as the PC version. :)  I know there are different standards too,  but that's still a great score for a RTS on a console.

PSN needs to fix the fundamentals in their online before they go for adding the extras.

They need a unified friends lists that allow for inviting buddies to play games/matches easily. Leaving it up to the devs on a game by game basis is nonsense - it never gets done have the time.

They have to make communicating verbally easier, voice messaging and communication should be a breeze, especially in-game.

Sony should have worked those issues out before they announced what amounts to a pack-in version of the SIMS for their online service.

The ease at which one can play and communicate with friends is the backbone of a good online service, Sony still has a ways to go.

Has Xbox Live before now?

Sony will release a new version of EyeToy, and since you could use the original one to take a picture to use in Buzz!, it's hardly beyond the realms of probability that games on PSN would be able to use a similar feature to whats being described at some point in the future.

In Rainbow Six Vegas you can use the Xbox Live vision camera to take a picture of yourself and it'll map over a character model so it looks like your face.

If I am not mistaken, didn't MS build XBL to where it is now, it just didn't start out with all the nice functions it has now...........it is a process, NO PSN isn't up to par yet but it is a work in progress compared to what Sony had before which was pretty much nothing.

You can indeed. You actually get like 20 gamerpoints just for doing that.

Interesting, but not 4 months into the 360's life.

Something like Eyedentify over the net would be interesting.

It's easier to replicate than innovate.

If I get vision cams on games, you can be sure I'll play in the nude.
