Does Sony even have another Shooter that will compete with Gears 3?

I think both games are very capable of scoring 9.5 (not just 9.0 typical handouts) from all the information I have read and seen

The real question is, does MS have any other big games for us after Gears 3? I'm a multiplatform gamer, my 360 is for exclusives and the odd multiplat I want to play with my friends, and they're not wowing me at all.

That's two that will compete with Sony's long list of exclusives, so the answer to my question was "No, MS does not have any exclusives to compete with the plethora announced by Sony". I'm simply saying companies need not counter every single release the other makes,s o long as they make the gamers happy with solid releases. Both Sony and MS are doing this (though Sony is doing better with their exclusive lineup).

The real question is, does MS have any other big games for us after Gears 3? I'm a multiplatform gamer, my 360 is for exclusives and the odd multiplat I want to play with my friends, and they're not wowing me at all.

They've already brought the best FPS of the gen as far as I'm concerned. Resistance, while I hope I like the third installment, is not a series I care for. It's a lot like Halo, and I don't like Halo.

Uncharted 3 comes out around the same time as Gears 3. Given that they are both TPS, I'd say those are the two titles competing with each other from MS and Sony.

Uncharted 3 might be closer to Gears 3 than Resistance 3 (there are so many sequels this year that my head is hurting :P). But honestly, all three of them are really quite different..... Yeah, they all involve shooting, but I dunno. Does anything need to compete with Gears 3? I don't think so.
