Does System Wars seem really docile and boring lately since 360 > PS3

Now im not trying to flame, but I think its kinda obvious that right now the 360 is more successful and it looks like it will probably outsell the PS3 for the rest of this gen. With that being said, I do notice that it has really calmed down in here and I think that might be the reason why. What do you guys think, please discuss and be respectful.PrimusGears

Well the PS3 is dying, even the Sony fanboys cannot deny that. CNN has called it a "Sinking Ship" and I have read in many different places that the PS3 sales really stunk this year, regardless that this was the year of MGS4 and LittleBigPlanet. Playstation may be running its course. If you really think about this, the 360 and the PS3 are essentially the same console. One of them is going to "lose" eventually, and it's really looking like the 360 is taking over. We don't need both of these consoles. I personally think that Sony did a good job with the PS3 but they made too many mistakes and they put it on the shelves too late. If you hardcore Playstation gamers are never going to convert to the 360, you may be stuck playing your PS3 for the rest of your life, because right now, it's not looking like there is going to be a PS4.

I could be wrong but from what i heard the PS3 has been outselling the 360 before Microsoft dropped the price of it just over a month or two ago. Once the PS3 gets more exclusive games in this year such as Killzone 2 & God of War 3 im sure the sales will pick up again if it doesn't before that. With the hardware problems that the 360 keep on having i think it looks likely that people will turn to the PS3 rather than the other way around imho.

That is mostly due to there being more 360 owners than PS3. As i said once there are a few more exclusives good enough to sell consoles that come out for the PS3, sales will go up for both console & games as you need to remember the 360 had a years head start.

And another thing. I would guess that over half the sales of the PS3 were solely because of the Blu-Ray capability. Sony knows this, and, if they really sat down to think about it, they would realize that they would save so much more money if they dropped the Playstation and focused on Blu-Ray Players, TVs, etc. They care about making money, not about pleasing fans.Port5

Thats not true because when 360 had about the same console base 17 million users in 2007 it sold games like Mass Effect, Halo 3, and others like hotcakes. The sales of LBP, R2 and the multiplats selling much less on the PS3 is definitely an alarming issue.

Keep liking it, just forget that`s there a better gaming machine out there and you will be fine.

Though sales are important profit is even more important. But I couldn't care less if Ps3 suddenly outsold 360 by 10 billion million consoles because I already have a Ps3 and a 360.
