Does the GOTY determine a better line up between consoles?

On SW there's a lot of arguments over consoles line-up and which is the best of '07. I was thinking whatever gamewins GOTY then the correspondingconsole would have the best line-up. So if SSMB winsGOTYwould the wii have the bestline-up of '07? Iknow onegame doesn't make a whole line-up but winningGOTY should heavliy put in theconsoles favor of having the best line-up of the year. Or does it not work like that?

No. It can if the consoles in question are neck-in-neck as far as AAAs/AAs go, then the GOTY can determine it. But if it's one spectacular, GOTY-winning game amidst a bunch of crap, then it doesn't make too much of a difference.

the console with the best lineup is mostly based on opinion. If you like heavenly sword buy a ps3, if you like halo buy a 360 etc. Fanboys get worked up for nothing.
