Games I want for 360 in 2008 are GTAIV, Fable 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction (Maybe)

For PS3 I would NEEED MGS4!!!!! And would want Killzone 2, GTAIV and probably LBP depending on price and review etc... that's about it from what I know

Looking at it like that I would have to say no. I do however find it funny that the 360 has a strong end 07 then has weak 08, and vice-cersa for PS3.

Also to anyone who is about to diss any of the PS3 titles most of those have been big money franchise which have been sucessful for Sony since PSX.

Now reverse the role and you have the 2007 situation. 360 has amazing games and the PS3 a few good games but nothing stellar compared to the 360 games of 2007.

TGS 07, X07, and whatever game shows being held next year will reveal plenty of new Xbox 360 games. You would be insane to think that we've seen everything already. And besides, we still have four months left of 2007. Let's enjoy it while it lasts before we start worrying about next year's epic battle.

Lost Odyssey has been 08 for quite awhile. January though I think. 360 has a decent 08 lineup that will satisfy the fanbase, but is definitely not going to be pushing many systems. Unless this holiday 360 takes off big it's prettymuch set for 3rd. Sony's 08 lineup on the otherhand is going to attract many millions of sales.

Far Cry 2, Splinter Cell, Huxley, Alan Wake, Left for Dead, etc and while its not official, if VF5 can go mullti, so can Tekken 6.

There has barely been anything announced for 2008, 360 doesnt take a year to start coming out with bigger games, 360 will have its days in 2008 and even though there arent many exclusives announced yet, there are a bunch of PC/360 titles that top it off.

Well it looks like Sony is going to survive this holiday season and their line-up is complete poop compared the the 360s so I don't see why the 360 won't survive '08...butteater86

lol xbox 360 will do fine. were just not hearing about the games in 2008 because of so many good games about to come. im personally waiting for UT3, Alan Wake, Halo Wars and Fallout 3 in 2008.

Like I and others have been saying, its a little early to be judging 2008 lineups, there are games that will be released in late 2008 that have probably not been revealed to the public and many of those games could slip into 2009 release dates. FFXIII and GT5 have both been given spring 2008 release dates at the earliest. They could still fall into 2009 release dates considering neither game will be released until the developer is 100% satisfied with it. PBSnipes

The last official word on Lost Odyssey was something like "2007 in time for the holidays." I doubt FF XIII will be out in the U.S. until 2009, and probably 2010 for Versus. Square is always slow.DeadlyZodiac

There is no such thing as a console exclusive. Not in my lists.

Console exlcusives exist people just don't wanna think it does... I mean especially in the world of casual gamers or even peope who are somewhat casual and a bit hardcore like many of my friends they look at games like Gears or Halo 3 or whatever as not being on the PS3 or Wii if they are into the Wii too.

It's not a knock against PC gaming is just that most Casuals don't go down the PC route as the console system has the most appeal for casuals cause it's all setup for you just pop in disk and play or maybe click download this patch and it'll download.

So for a lot of people console exclusives do exist. I'm one of them. I had to pick between PS3 and 360 in November 2006. And what were some of the big points? Halo 3 won't be on PS3, or MGS4 won't be the 360. But what about Mass Effect and ofcourse there were bigger factors like price and the bundle offer for my 360 but just saying when me and my bro were looking into it, it was about what the 360 had that the PS3 didn't.

So while for some console exclusive doesn't exist and that's fine cause it's on PC/360. For others it does.

Where did you hear January 2008 for LO? The last official response for it was at E3 and they said holiday season 2007.

FF XIII could be out in 2008, but knowing Square it probably wont be for the U.S. Probably early-mid 08 for Japan and late 08 everywhere else. But if the other FF's are any indication, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Expect at least 5-8 more exclusivetitles on that PS3 list. Two of them are Resistence 2 and a new naughty dog game(jak 4).

In a interview with phil harrison a few months ago phil said there are 5-6 new unnanouncedtitles coming to the PS3 between 12 -18 months, which mean from Jan 2008 to December 2008. So the PS3 has a very strong line up for 2008. There is around 14 major exclusives for the PS3 in 2008.

As for the 360 I think that Microsoft has a few killer unnanouncedtitles up their sleves

M$ hasn't even announced their 2008 lineup yet.

You forget a few. Huxley, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Left 4 Dead, Culdcept Saga, Cry On, Possession, ShadowClan, The Precursors, Theseis, Dog Tag, Alan Wake, 2 Days to Vegas & Metronome.

The PS3 still have more exclusives over all, but we have no idea how many of those games will slip into 2009 or be cancelled. Ofcourse the same can be said for the 360 games as well.

We'll see what M$ shows at the X07 show.
