Yes - if you can't play the game on a Playstation, then it is an advantage for XBox when you are talking about Xbox vs Playstation. Just like Planetside 2 is a Playstation advantage even though you can play it on a PC. Logic 101.

Hell MCC is a multiplatform as well,so basically almost all on xbox one is multi platforms and doesn't require an xbox one.

If you don't count those the xbox one has 1 game Sunset over drive and that is it,the rest is multiplatform,even Halo 2 on MCC.

So yeah name one higher score than TLOU since what he posted there was a barrage of multiplatforms crap and unreleased games.

I definitely agree with the first half of the sentence of your post. Library of games is terrible at this point. This gen was rushed, no question.

Ehhhh it does have a few multiplat you can't find on the wiiu.....then again the wiiu just got a 10/10 game as well.

Both consoles have a line-ups that don't justify the cost of the system.

How did FH2 flop? What was the official hype? I don't recall it being AAA aside from a few lems claiming it would be. That doesn't make it official. TLOU OFFICIAL hype was AAA, that's why it flopped. Link the official FH2 hype please.

X1 has better games than ps4. Ps4 has more games technically but the majority are indies. Indies equal apps as far as im concerned and not the main course

@slim70: See I owned both last gen as well and I bought more and played more on the 360 because for a good portion of the generation, 360 was killing it in the same manner the ps4 is now. I can admit when a console is better, and you are right about games being better is subjective, which is why I said in my opinion. Personally I'm happy to own all 3 consoles and a gaming PC. Best of all worlds.

I agree, it's best to own all platforms. All of my multiplats go on my PC and I have consoles for the exclusives and the occasional sports game. Personally though, I'm having a better time with the games on Xbox and can't wait for Halo and Sunset Overdrive. I won't be purchasing a PS4 game until 2015 when The Order comes out.

If you have to create lists with a bunch of filler arcade titles such as "pure chest" and "pinball arcade" etc... to justify your console its a clear indication that it doesn't have the strongest library, and isn't really anything to brag about.

Contrary to what any rabid fanboy will tell you, both consoles have good games to offer. Hell, even the Wii U does now, as well. This is why owning all 3 is the best way to go.

Oh yeah, I'm with you. I'm seriously hyped for SO and MCC. This fall my console gaming will shift to the One for sure. Plus I still need to grab Forza Horizon 2. I usually get multiplats on the PC as well. Consoles are for the exclusives, unless the multiplat doesn't go to PC. I'm also with you on no PS4 games until The Order, and that may not be a buy for me until it drops in price.

When you have to make excuses to argue against the facts, it's clear your console doesn't have the strongest library. Let's take a look at some of those Xbone games, Fighter Within (lol). The PS4 beats it in both number of games and scores, it wins in quantity and quality. Only facts, no excuses either.

I have no reason to justify anything since I don't own either of the consoles. I only defend the best console.

Xbox fans are not listing games such as Fighter within as reasons as why the xbox currently has the better library of games. For the most part we see them listing games such as Forza, DR3, Titan Fall, etc.. as reasons as to why it has a better library, these being games that actually have some merit, then we have PS4 fans such as your self that have been putting up lists with such titles as "pure chest" and "pinball arcade", that are filled with Filler titles that no one would waste time talking about to justify its library, because they don't have much in the way of worthwhile full retail games. It is two distinct mentality's, one being more desperate than the other (PS4).

If you believe that having games like pure chest, and pinball, and various other small indie titles, that for the most part don't compare to full games, as reasons to justify the lack of worthwhile differentiating retail titles makes the PS4 the "best" console, because that's what your essentially doing, then more power to you.

There's basically Forza 5 and Infamous SS. If you count multiplats, there's Titanfall, Forza Horizon 2, FF XIV and TLOU. Soon, MCC on xb1.

Maybe DR3, Driveclub and Killzone SF abit, if you strech it.

Currently, yes. Xbox One has better games. But not much better. If Sunset Overdrive delivers along with Halo. It could be very good. PS4 has kinda dropped the ball with good games. But Bloodborne looks like it could be epic. Can't wait.

Or we could list every game instead. Taking into account the whole library the PS4 wins. Just because you don't like some games, doesn't mean we don't need to list them. If we hand pick the best titles on each the PS4 still wins.

Even though there's nothing I would want to play on the PS4 at the moment, I still can't deny it has a better lineup than the Xbone. They're both pretty awful though.

Numerically yes, the PS4 has more games. Quality? HELL NO. The ONE has more quality titles. Hands down.

Well when you compare scores like Resogun 9/10 and Forza 5 9/10 there is a difference. First/third party games are more important when compared to indies. Sony has killed their indie card. Too many damn showcases devoted to indies and if i had a PS4 i would be pissed that this is even a hype'd area.

If a system had hundreds of poorly scoring games that where barely playable would you say it's better than a system that had only a handful of great games and nothing else? That's never been a measurement to determine somethings quality for a reason.

The PS4 does not have more high quality titles unless you want to move the bar lower to allow games below AA and arcade games that where never considered quality titles previous gens. Wanting to lower the bar/ standard to accommodate the PS4 is a clear example on why it currently is lacking in games and why the thread on reasons to own a PS4 heavily favors hype over games

Depends what games you like. If you like Xbox One exclusives better than PS4 exclusive then that is the system you should get. If you like PS4 exclusives best then the PS4 is better. If the multiplat games are your things then the PS4 tends to have a step up in graphics department. If you like the TV apps (not my thing) then the Xbox One might be your thing. I never understood system wars. Get what you like and have some fun.

Xbox has the more promising fall lineup but IMO, no xbone game comes close to how promising Bloodborne and Uncharted 4 look. Also, historically Playstation has always offered more exclusives because they have a stronger first party than M$
