@Sagemode87: I'm not haggling what counts I'm using the same standard that has been used for the past 8 years where games like Forza are considered quality and games like pure chess are not.

I disagree. And it is clear most everyone else does as well.
A lot of it seems to be a matter of opinion, PS4 seems to have a few more of those dark cinematic games, but overall I find they each offer something different.
However, seeing the Disaster that is Driveclub, still today a week after launch there are server issues, I'm just happy I made the right choice for myself and only got an Xbox One at launch. Horizon 2 had very minor issues that got resolved within like 48 hours of release, but nothing even remotely close to the DC fiasco. As a racing game enthusiast, if I had fallen for the advertising of DC and gotten that instead of Horizon...... I would be pretty pi***d today.
I see a lot of people hating on established MS franchises like Halo and Forza, but at least they consistently deliver ......they are in demand year after year because they deliver the goods, simple as that.

This whole thread is a based on opinion. No one is wrong because there's no facts to based it on. Sony has the longer history of exclusive games they can potential release on the PS4 but they not going to release every single exclusive they have under their belt out, just the ones they feel will bring in the most money. On the other hand, right now the X1 has the better holiday exclusive lineup and possible the better exclusive console lineup between both systems. People always bring up you can play X1 games on their PC and that's fine, you can with some of their games but that doesn't take away the fact that it's still a console exclusive to them and a game in their library. MS might even have the better holiday lineup next year also cause they have quite a few things planned as we are reading but the issue with MS is that they always seem to fall off by keeping that exclusive momentum going when you get into year 3 and beyond. Both consoles have a great lineup, who's better is entirely up too you. Really, if you want to talk about who has the most exclusive it's Nintendo hands down.

Yes but if you don't need their console to play those games that makes the console expendable. Though you are more right than wrong in your post. It is personal opinion. Sony does tend to have exclusive during the entire console life whereas MS tapers off.
But hey......if everyone bought what they liked and left it at that SW would be barren. Whether that is good or bad is up to you....

If you're a console only player then you need their console as well as the others to play all the games you want. I don't play games on a PC, I don't have the time to build a new PC rig every 1 to 2 years nor do I want to spend money on the newest graphics card all the time. I have a Wii U, PS4 & X1 so I know i'll never get left out when it comes to any games but to me right now I'm more excited about what's coming out on the X1 cause they have more games I'm looking forward too. It's only a few PS4 games I'm looking forward too within the next year.

No the Xbox One does not have better games. It can't when the games it shares with the PS4 are better over there. Neither console has enough exclusives to claim a victory, so it comes down to multiplats.
Now the Wii U, there's a console with some solid exclusives.

If they are lesser games that an individual wouldn't pick up if they had an X1 already then they won't move the X1 into their hands. MS came out this gen with some big game announcements but they are lagging behind this gen. Some of which is probably consumer distrust. The RROD and lack of exclusives in the later years might make some people take a wait and see. And the terrible initial E3 to introduce the console did them no favors. I'd imagine they will sustain some sales but whether they are enough for stockholders is interesting to watch.
I have both the previous MS consoles. This gen I'm waiting to see what they will offer down the road. As I built a gaming PC I have a way to play MS games thus far if interested. I do like owning all the consoles each gen so if MS lowers the price and has some worthwhile games I will eventually pick one up. It's just not necessary for me to do so now.
Anyway neither Sony nor MS has any right now games out there. So I'm playing games on my other systems.

It's an issue in regard to consumer confidence though.

That has very little to do with consumers this gen. That was an issue for the 360 within the first few months of it's launch, if there's no reports of anything like that now that really the chances of it happening again is over. That has little to nothing to do with the exclusives coming out this year and beyond.

i agree xbox suck. but so PS4. console was and still trash and always been useless piece of toy for kids, casuals and female gamers. real gamers play only PC. LJ, you need to understand it. you are too casual still.
