Don't know what next gen console to get

Already have the wii so my choice is the 360 or the ps3.

I've just finish Zelda on the wii and i loved it, also love jrpgs and action games but not army or shoot ups games, My husband in to online car racing and i like the price of the 360. Is blue ray needed, i have a HD television. Might buy one today and how much is the online service on the 360?

Well, I've got a 360 and a PS3, so obviously it was a hard choice to make.  For now though, I'd have to recommend the 360 hands down over the PS3.  The 360 offers a more customizable experience.  You can choose whether or not you want to pay for a hard drive, HD movie playback, Wi-Fi, wireless controllers, etc. etc.  The PS3 doesn't offer the same choices.  If you don't need wireless internet connectivity, tough, you still have to pay for it.  Plus, the 360 has the bigger, more well-rounded game library for the moment.  There are a lot of JPRGS scheduled for release on the 360, and plenty of racing games have already come out for it.  Also, the 360 right now has shown a little bit more graphical polish than the PS3

The PS3 is a decent system, but it just doesn't offer enough to really warrant the price, especially since you probably won't utilize all of it's features.  And no, Blu-ray is not needed for gaming, despite what Sony and their fans will tell you.

hm... if you want to play fun games now, go with 360

but if you want a system that is future-proof, go with PS 3.

360 is probably the best choice at the moment.. its cheaper and has better games. xbox live is 50$ a year if i remember right. PS3 in my opinion will have good games in the future but at the moment only good game it has that the 360 doesnt is resistance. Darkslayer16

I agree, 360 has alot going for it, its going to take at least another 6 months to a year for the ps3 and Wii to catch up. 

Heck don't even fight it. Buy them, buy them all... ALLLL MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

why do people ask these things in this forum?/

is it becasue yu dont want  either a 360 or ps3 and you just want to make a thread that fanboys can argue in?

you should ask this in the off topic forum or  make a thread in each of the 360 and ps3 forums asking why you should only get that console,, mind you...dont ask this same thing in either of those as it could be looked at as trolling...and will be locked.

or you could do your own reaserch.

No i just can't make my mind up on which console to get and most people on here have both and just wanted some help. i've done some research and i'm more confused.

You see i will only buy one of these two cos they are both the same really but i have a few worries over both.

The broken 360 and the future of jrpgs on the 360, if blue dragon and trusty bell flop, will that mean less jrpgs for the future and the lack of blu-ray. 

Now i don't know much about blu-ray but could the 360 get left behind with ps3 blu-ray or will the 360 just use extra disks which won't bother me at all and is the ps3 online as good at the xbox live?

your concerns are not even concerns..

you will likely be happy with either console..

you couldnt have done that much reaserch if you still dont know which console to get...

i'd get  360 since it has better and more games now and the machine is just better!
