I know there maybe tons of people who disagree with me but why do people look down on the wii. I'm not really a xbox fan and ps3 i won't be getting for a while but cmon is graphics and online only what people think now? Look back in the day, there were games that were so much fun with out all these triple a plus graphics and great online play. I know things changed but ever since the wii came all i am hearing is the wii is too kiddy and the wii won't compete because there is no online or the online play will suck. Nintendo is a video game company so they are learning new things and trying to make their game better. You may think im prob just some nintendo fanboy but people who are on nintendo's side has no right to look down on the xbox 360 or ps3. Microsoft has a great advantage on online and maybe graphics, ps3 has a great advantage on graphics and maybe gameplay (whatever else ya can think of) and nintendo can surely make a game fun. Im not a peacemaker but when can we stop doing this to each other. (lol)
The wii doesn't interest me. Thats why I brought a 360 and plan on getting a PS3. I don't like the controller nor the games for it. Thats just my personal opinion.

Dude, come on, the Wii is a joke. It's not even "next-gen." The only thing remotely interesting is the new Zelda game, and guess what? That went to Gamecube (which I own)! The Wii is a joke! a gimmick! A GIMMICK!

I don't look down on it but wish that companies would try to nail the control a little better. Sonic feels really floaty, and SSX kinda loose. Some games-like TP and Wii Sports-are great in their control.

Well, the problem I have with the Wii is that most of the games "aren't" fun and look bad. The new control scheme does jack diddly for me as of right now. Maybe when it's polished and actually has a dev strive for the best.
You make some worthy points but you have to realize that PS3 and 360 are going to have plenty of fun games as well. Believe or not, graphics and online enhance the fun factor of a game. Having awesome AI and interactive environments are a plus as well. Some can argue that we may not need gorgeous graphics and Blu-Ray until next gen when enough people have HDTVs and the cry for that technology is here. I personally think that is true, but not everyone will agree.
It's very hyprocritical to say "Don't look down on the Wii" when you yourself are looking down on the other systems.

I think everyone is entitled to their opinion and have the right to express it. But I see your point, it's awfully annoying when someone blindly bashes a console just because they don't like the company.
I dont know why people hate any console. The 360 is hot, the PS3 is hot( just not it's price) and the Wii is hot. I'd do my middle school vice principal for any of them. ( BTW, my middle school vice principal was a fat woman, pretty ugly also)
yeah i there are people who think 360 is good even tho im not too fond of it, the wii is good and ps3 i just don't understand why people have to put other consoles down
