Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today announced that DOOM® 3 BFG Edition will be available this Autumn and features DOOM® 3 and the Resurrection of Evil® add-on pack, both of which have been completely re-mastered. The package also includes hours of new content ? seven new levels entitled ?The Lost Mission?. I might pick it up if they're selling it for like $39.99 and not $59.99. I played Doom 3 long ago and liked it but honestly why remaster it? Why not just give us Doom 4?

it doesnt matter if it get an enchanced port to consoles,

mods on pc will always make it the best.

This costs pennies for id. A brand new game would cost tens of millions of dollars. If anything, buying this would show id that people still want Doom and would be willing to help support them to make Doom 4.
