Looking good gameplay wise.

Concerned about the further focus on story though. I thought that element let Doom Eternal down a bit. Doom 2016 had a nice sense of humour about it. The odd character going on and on and you could tell the slayer was basically saying "Shut up. I do not care AND I do not care".

But yeah the gameplay is looking like a nice refresh alright. Bit of a different take and nothing wrong with that at all.

It's unlikely I will be getting it at launch but it's certainly on the to get list.

Its Doom evolved in new direction otherwise would get stale but every Doom game label as not Doom after originals.

It's an FPS, you can limit survival aspects to minimal.

Super duper hype for Doom: Dark Ages and I only watch just one gameplay a few months ago, I will not be watching anything further so I can keep a well balance on my expectations. And I'll be purchasing it on Steam so that the developers can get my hard-earn money.

Doom 20. Boring

Should be somewhat fun at least, but I have doubts.

The titan and dragon modes look pretty lame, and melee focused combat isn't Doom. Also not a fan of battles being sort of puzzles, a problem I had with Eternal as well. If I don't play by the game's specific rules, I'll be punished for it. Can enjoy that too, but not in the extent they go with it, and not in a doom game. Let me be badass in my own way please.

A bit conflicted, but so far I'm not really feeling this game. Might turn out fun in the end, but it's not the doom I want.

this franchise needed to do something new and fresh that's why its only long running FPS franchise that still not stale and feel fresh. look at COD and Battlefield.

I'm watching as little as possible, I just need the game to drop on gamepass.

Not watching, I'd rather be surprised. It's already on Game Pass, not like I need any extra convincing, unlike SOME PEOPLE.

I love the option to speed up the gameplay. I will probably be playing at 150%.

Been a fan of customizeable difficulty since I first saw it in Mount and Blade (System Shock 1 did it before, but I played M&B first). So glad it is becoming the norm now.

Amazing game but the price 94euro is insane. At this price probably it will not sell good.....and with gamepass they will never make money from the game. At this price there is a big no from me.....i will wait for price drop,i will not support those crazy prices for a game.

Not sure if I am using this term correctly, but it seems like it has some "bullet hell" aspects to it. At least more so than previous games. Could be fun for me as it seems more accessible than other games devoted entirely to that sub-genre.

I've never said any of those things. It seems that if someone criticizes your precious "masterpieces", you get really salty. No matter how one criticize or explain their reasoing, you will be there and salty. It's funny, but also annoying. Makes you wonder if you understand anything that's being said or you just go "he said bad stuff about my game, he wrong!"

Maybe he refers to the skill tree. Which, in that case, I agree it shouldn't be there.

Since I wasn't too fond of the direction they took the series in, I at least appreciate that. But I would still love to see a good modern version of old school Doom. No upgrades, no skill trees, no puzzle combat, no monkey bars, no runes, less arenas, scarier environments and enemy designs, better level design, no QTEs or glory kills, no stupid and forced story with cutscenes.. etc. This game is going even further away from what I want than the previous ones did, it seems.

Doom: The Meh Ages

Seeious note, I enjoyed Eternal, but game goes too long. Just got bored of the game little more than halfway through.

I'm convinced Ghost is a closet homosexual.

The only things he likes are games and movies with muscular men in them. Any time a woman is in his media he repulses back to his muscular man lair and cries "woke".
