And still looks like it took more cues from Brutal Doom than actual Doom.

PC version for me it is.

Looking forward to this but my friend played in the Alpha/Beta what ever it was and said the online play was super spongy, as in taking multiple rounds to drop someone.

So now it's become a meh wait and see reviews of it.

Never played a Doom game, so looking forward to the reviews I see. Would like to give it a go.

Awesome. Since Doom 1 and 2 are both backwards compatible on Xbone, I'm hoping they're bundled in with this game.

And since Bethesda is still having an E3 conference, what are they gonna be showing? Another Fallout? Maybe Fallout 4 GOTY? Elder Scrolls 6?

@jg4xchamp: Let's be honest Brutal Doom is what people imagined what Doom was back in the 90s.

I can see this game being targeted for its extreme violence though. It'll be interesting to see.

Will take a wait and see approach. Look forward to the gameplay streams when it comes out, will gauge if it's worth the jump or not. Otherwise, wait till a Steam sale.

I just hope the prescripted insta-kills have more than a few variations on the same monster. It'll be just like GoW otherwise.

campaign trailer looks sick. I'm interested in seeing how iD Tech 6 performs and will buy the game depending on its length. If its anything around 6h, fk that. If its 12h+ then its a day one on pc.

Looks bloody and pretty fun, but I seriously hate those execution moves. "Press X to kill" is fucking lame. Modding those out would be nice. I mean, they look cool and all in trailers, but the 3000th time you do it, it's not gonna be fun anymore. And it shouldn't be in a Doom game.

Maybe I'll play a little bit more of Doom II on Xbox One tonight to celebrate the good news. Saw this at the gym, Conan O'Brien did another Clueless Gamer segment with Doom, but in the pre-Super Bowl tradition of inviting players of rival teams to play, seems to be playing the XBO version and appears to mostly run well minus a little screen tearing but that's a small price to pay for a what otherwise seems like a rock solid performance, hopefully that can get fixed to in later patch...
