it will go up due to UK sells. Fixed and yes, but that doesn't mean it isn't selling very badly here....

and with the ps3 being even more expensive , the removal of bc, etc europe isn't going to save the ps3. anyone who really wanted a ps3 didn't wait, they imported one of the over supplied us models at a cheaper price and with bc.

it will go up do to UK sells. It's US only but since when is UK == Europe? Don't forget the rest Germany, Franch etc and of course us the Dutchy's. ;)

it's still gonna seem expensive compared to the 360 and wii which is what counts.  ms and nintendo will also cut their prices is sony does so it's not going to get any better for sony. and if nintendo and/or the 360 gets a price cut before sony, well then it's gonna get much worse. sony have put them in a position of choosing to lose money fast, or lose money slow. nintendo and ms will both release new consoles rendering the ps3 obsolete betore the ps3 is profitable for sony.

uh an imported ps3 from USA wouldnt play euro movies, or vise versa so ur scenario fails. and yes blu-ray is a major factor in ps3 its what is driving up blu-ray sales people buy a game console to play games. movies are an after thought. regular dvd has a much better library than either of the new formats. but if blurays sucess is tied to the ps3 as close as you claim, then bluray is doomed.  sony better hope bluray isn't dependant on the console that is flopping. did you really buy a ps3 to watch movies? or is it what you are forced to do while waiting for games to come out? the lack of ps3 games is why bluray sales are spiking. when sony actually gets some game disks people want to put in the tray bluray sales will fall.  my point still stands. and weren't the ps3 and bluray suposed to be region free?

look at the xbox 360. Sales have been steady and have actually been increasing since last year.
