Which platform are you getting it on, and why?

I am getting it on the PC, as I imagine the controls will be much more flushed out. Also, I have a gtx275 :)

PC for me too, for the same reasons as the OP (although I've got a 1 gig 4870 instead of a gtx)

Not buying it, the gameplay looks disappointing.

I don't understand why you woulden't get this for PC considering what type of game this is.

PS3. If I had a PC that could run it I would proboly go with that.

PC and I shouldn't even have to explain why. In fact I all ready own and have DA:O installed on my PC right now, just need to wait for Tuesday! Ugh..it's like having the case with the game inside but you can't open the case cause theres a lock on it.

PC.. the gameplay is designed around PC thus the console versions being a bit different. Not to mention the toolset. My god, console gamers are literally missing out on 1/2 the experience without that. I hope some PC content can make it to consoles though that way they don't have to.

PC. It'd be sort of insane for me to get it on anything else, seeing as my PC will run the game better than my 360 or PS3 and even if the game didn't have controls that work best on PC then I could still use my 360 control with it.

Plus, mods.

Downplay them all you want, but sometimes, mods can add a lot to the experience, and some high-profile mods end up being better than the games they were made for.

Same answer as always:

Anything other than PC is a sin and I don't want to go to Hell.

PS3 version. I just prefer my RPGs on the PS3, and I don't have a PC capable of running really powerful games.

I'm buying it but not so sure as Bioware has been flopping me titles lately, I'll wait a week and ask around on how similar it is to BG if its half as good then buy. If I buy it I'm getting it on PC for obvious reasons, probably be playing it in isometric view.

PC. Best graphics, best control system, and cheapest price. Got the Digital Deluxe version for $55 CAD.

Got the CE preorderd for 360 :D I want to keep my BioWare games on 1 console therefore I went with 360 over PS3. I don't have a PC that can run games nowadays, but even if I did I probably still would have gotten it on 360. I prefer console to PC. I really want to get a decent PC though so I can play The Witcher :(

Was going to get it on PS3 until I saw the exclusive armor for Mass Effect 2. So went with the 360 version. Pick it up on Tuesday. :)

Obviously this game isn't casualized enough for the consolites lower standards. Even though it will be the best WRPG ever.

There are quite a few gamers who double dip every now and then and I am far from being the only one who is doing it with Dragon Age. I guess I am just that much of a whore for this game.:P

It hardly makes me an idiot for wanting to play both versions of my most anticipated game if I can afford it and choose to do so of my own accord. However, insulting a complete stranger over the internet because you disagree with their video game purchases certainly qualifies. Maybe you do so in order to stroke your own ego, aye?
