Dragon Age Origins Ps3 Collectors Edition Confirms Mass Effect 2 on Playstation

"So I'm sure your all aware about the fact that if you buy the collectors edition of Dragon Age: Origins you get some special armor that you can also use in Mass Effect 2 right? Well naturally I figured this would only be if you bought the Xbox 360 or PC versions of the collectors edition. Well today I was thinking about pre ordering my version of Dragon Age: Origins (on the 360), but I was in a very curios mood. So I clicked on the Dragon Age: Origins collectors edition for Playstation 3 just to see what it offered (on game.co.uk), and sure enough I saw that it offered the same armor that can be used in Mass Effect 2 (see for yourself)."

I see this as a TIMED Exclusive for PC and 360, but I do understand we've been talking about this lately. Bioware is EA now, and Bioware knows the PS3 with Dragon Age, but right now I will take the official word.

Yeah, the evidence is too weak, I won't be waiting for that, I'm buying it on 360 much sooner. :)I don't wait for maybe's, I want my games stat. :)

I doubt this will follow the same rules as Tales of Vesparia with getting extra content that will not be available on other systems. If anything it will be packaged with some DLC that would also be available on XBLM and for PC. There would be WAY too much backlash if they did that, Bioware seems to care about their fanbase and would not want to upset them.

I do not think ME1 and ME2 will be on the same disc, the compession methods are different on Blu-ray then standard DVD then Xbox and PC have read speads of 54x+ while PS3 has a speed of 2X. It would have to be too different discs.

Secondly, PC360 is not an exclusive platform

This was allready brought up a long time ago in the eficial mass effect forums at bioware. Apparently you can use the code you get on any platform. You can get DA on ps3 and use the armor on the 360 version of ME2.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if ME2 launched on the ps3 later though. Just remember they first have to port the first one!

Microsoft doesn't own PC gaming, Mass Effect was published by EA for PC. You aren't going anywhere with this argument.

Well it makes sense really, if you think about it before Bioware was stating "if you want Mass Effect 2 bonus item you can only get Xbox or PC version of Dragon Age" some people might have got upset and stated they were going to buy it for PS3 but they play Mass Effect on a different system so it wasn't fair to them.

Regardless of whether there's any truth to this, I remember seeing a lot "Mass Effect sucks!" threads.As soon as there's a possibility of it beingmultiplatform, every PS3 owner suddenly loves it.

We all have our preferences, but some people are just big time fanboys.

This will be on PS3, either at release or at a later time. But yes, it'll be on PS3. Just watch.

But it's funnier when it's announced before they come out (FF13 and MGSR) compared to after they come out except maybe Bioshock (NGS2, ToV, and SO4I).

Seriously all fanboys... when MS and Sony said third party exclusives were a thing of the past they meant both 360 and PS3 exclusives not just PS3.

Lets pretend its in developement right now. EA plan to release 6 months after 360 release. Remember this is pretend! They will have put a lot of money into it. Would they stop it just so it stays exclusive? DOUBT IT! There could be a whole fanbase on PS3. They will have wasted all that money.

I don't think anyone cares about MGR though,MGS4-------> MGR ( no Kojima or Snake is instant fail ). I'll give you FFXIII though,along with Tekken 6,DMC4 and RE5.
