Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection Confirmed

Budokai 3 is getting an HD release as well as the first one. They're skipping the second one for some reason but don't really care as long as I get the third.

wait...the collection only contains hd rereleases of 1 and 3? why not 2?

I don't really care the games sucked in their original form hd rereleases with added achievement and trophy support wont change that but it just seems odd to release a collection and not release the 2nd game.

The only one that matters is Budokai 3.

And Namco Bandai is still the milkage king... Sorry Namco but I still have my copy of Budokai 3 somewhere and that's all I need.:cool:

Don't know why anyone cares about B2 not being included -- that game was what DMC2 was to the DMC franchise.

What doesn't make sense to me is not having "Budokai Tenkaichi 3" instead of the first Budokai -- seems a little silly not to have the best of both worlds if they're only going to do two of them. I hope they add online play at least.

DBZ Legends was totally a classic. I still can't believe it never made it overseas, but those other two horrible games (Final Bout GT and Ultimate Battle 22) somehow did.

Cool, I only played Budokai 3 at a friends house. Though I aadmit even though my namesake says otherwise, I hope this is cheap, else I'll wait for a sale.

odd they're leaving out 2, but 3 was the best one IMO.

1 was great too for the story mode, it was pretty much spot on from the Anime.

Why not have 2? 2 should be included IMO because out of the 3 it's definitely the most different....1 and 3 are about the same, but 3 being vastly much better because of a much bigger roster and much longer story line

having just 1 and 3 seems weird because who would play 1 over 3?

if you're not going to include 2 then you might as well not include 1 either and just put 3 out digitally for $15

Are you really comparing an anime series that's being milked to the bone, that's still running to one that ended before the first Pokemon series was even produced?.... :| .. yeah, you might have some problems buddy...

isn't dragon ball z still airing? but i doubt anyone knows since the ratings are terrible, and how is pokemon anime milked? it's one of the longest running shows in history, plus why would anyone cancel a show that is a garunteed ratings winner, that's just stupid.

meh. I enjoy the tenkaichi series much more. Though I will give budokai 1 some credit its the closes we got to a retelling of the anime.
