I don't actually know what this game is.
Also, X1 and PS4.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
I'm actually happy about this, I haven't played either of these games yet because I haven't touched my ps3 in over a year or so.
Can't even bring myself to plug it in. Same goes for any old console I own.
I hope they do a good job with the controls. Castlevania wasn't very good with keyboard and mouse. Japanese Dev's don't seem to care on making the layout work.
Will for sure buy it again... I already own PS3 and 360 versions of Dark Arisen, plus the strat guide. Maybe they will overhaul the menus and add more detailed info. Because even the strat guide didn't have everything you needed to know. Had to rely on sites.
Great news, been a while since i played it but it will definitely benefit from the better frame rate, in consoles it was just terrible.
Great, I was planning on getting this on PS3 but the graphics and framerate are terrible.
Haha yep I played the demo on PS3, and the framerate was between 20 and 30 at all times... God it was so annoying. Especially considering it's not like a cinematic adventure game or anything. You need smooth performance in an RPG.
I really hope this is true. It's hilarious how many companies are remaking their games for current gen. It's a joke now. At least they port it to PC too.
EDIT: Well ****, guess it's fake.
DD is one of those games that seem to actively want you to hate it. It will be nice to see if they get that framerate above the teens and clean up those ratty ass textures.
Some combat balance would be nice as well. Game was unbalanced as all hell..It does have some potential though.
What a nice surprise. I was planning to play Dragon´s Dogma for ages on my ps3, but now I will be able to play it on my PC at MASTER RACE quality :P.
Game was alright, but it had a save glitch where many people lost their progress (i was about 30-40 hours in, and couldn't be bothered starting over without being able to recover my old save). Plus who knows if that glitch would hit again (no idea if it was ultimately fixed or not).
Not sure I would consider starting over on PC either, but at least it's a better option.
KDrama Stars at it again, I see. The trolling is real...
It's the same site that spread that RDR2 and RDR PC rumor awhile back.
Fool me once, shame you. Fool me twice....
This would be the first smart move capcom has made in quite a long time.
let's see if any other sites pick this news up.
The first game was horrible, it had a nice idea, horrible quest system, and just when you thought the game was beginning to get good it just ends. There weren't nearly enough areas to explore, there wasn't enough large monsters to fight, the world needed to be like 10 times bigger full of more to do. The gaming mechanics were okay as far as combat went. I didn't much care for the pawn system.
Hopefully the sequel is a much needed improvement.

You must be hi... oh.

What? The game was lacking in content I can't believe that's even debatable.

Hell yes. Everyone has been waiting for the sequel. I never finished the original game. I have Dragon Dogma on both the PS3 and XBox 360. I wonder if I would even bother finishing it or just wait for the port to the PS4/XB1 with all the bugs fixed and start fresh on one of those platforms. Guess I'll just have to wait for the TGS and see what Capcom has to say about the games and it's sequel.
Dragon's Dogma had the best gameplay in any RPG ever, and it's not really even close. Multiple swappable completely different playstyles, climbing big enemies like in SOTC and really interesting dungeons and environments.
The game was too short, had terrible travel mechanics, bad framerate and a moronic story. Hopefully it's released with modding tools because then it will be the best RPG ever, it has the potential. It blows Skyrim out of the water in terms of gameplay, I am excite
So is this total bullshit?, i'd like to know before i get too excited.
Yes, it's kdramastars.com. As I said in my previous posts, they make things up trough their made up source Cyberland, then they complement it with old news/rumor articles from other sites.
