environment is very detailed and lush.

character models are excellent.

intuitive controls... gota play around with the controls a bit and brush up against a few walls and do a few jump out shots to get use to it.

platforming is solid, had lots of fun jumping being a monkey, jumping, crossing logs, rolling around, jumping on ledges etc..

enemies are easy to dispatch, but there are times you get random3 guys shooting at u from 3 different locations,,, gets annoying but.. playing it slow and steady gets the job done =)

just hope the game isn't the demo all over again for 14 hrs.

besides that.... its a great game. must buy.

all i would ask for would have been a multiplayer

... i am really considering to not buy that game anymore, since i learned it was single player only ...
mostly because it's the kind of "walk and jump" puzzles ... so it's really not good for replay value
and the A.I. is not challenging/good enough to add some kind of fun into "replaying the game over again"

So you're not buying Uncharted just because it doesn't have multiplayer? :? Eh, I guess you have your own preferences even though Uncharted has unlockables and medals...

In the "80s" and "90's" not one game had online multiplayer. When did you start playing videogames?

This game has potential to have coop but doesn't have it. I think that's what's missing in Uncharted. Multiplayer doesn't seem like a good idea for this game.

Yeah its a pretty amazing game, I think these days because everything goes into the graphics aswell as the gameplay games tend to be only 8 hours long where as mario, zelda etc were longer and had alot of replay in them,

Thats why I use an online renting service, they send my my games I play them til im bored I go to mail box mail em back and get some new ones, costs me 30$ a month for 3 games out at any time.

Not everybody was basing how good their games are off of online multiplayer capability. Games still don't need to be multiplayer to be good. Imagine Resident Evil going multiplayer. (not likeOutbreak) It would ruin the game.

what what what? where did this come from? i only responded to his comment cause he said there were no online games back then when that wasnt the case.

i actually liked outbreak, but that game got repetitive and boring very quick.

Gamespot really can't give uncharted lower then a 8, unless it wants to hurt its reputation.

they can, official hype here is only AA so anything in the 7s is just another flop.

If it sucks then they can give it a7/5 or lower. But if the review are coming mout in the 90's (ala r&C) and they give it a 7.5. It will hurt gamespot reputation to the point where they can't maintain anymore

WTF?

Go lower

5.0 sounds about right.

While the graphics are decent.

The gameplay won't get them any points after playing the demo.

It was damn fun. The hard mode added a very nice and perfect challenge. Honestly i want to go into details but it would take to long, but its was a awsome demo. Also the reason im buying it is because it doesnt have multiplayer. I love MP games but MP gets so old if thats all you play.

like if i care .... i can have a "gamerscore" (or w/e) of 100 and have pleasure with the few GOOD games i buy ... and others will have 10 000 points and he plays games just for acheivements wich doesn't sound funny to me

i'm not absolutly talking about MULTIPLAYER OR NOTHING

if uncharted had 1 mode ... deathmatch, i wouldn't be interested either in it's multiplayer

i talked about replay value, puzzles that are boring to do twice .... that is why i won't buy it, low replay value
maybe when it will be at a lower price i might reconsider it ... or probably find a used copy of it ...

PC and Mac games did in the 90s. Games were very linear back in those days as well, does that mean all games should remain that way?
