Both these system have great games and exclusives. Not of them seem to disappoint you at all. PSP has Portable Opps & DS has Hotel Dusk. So come on both these systems appeals to most audiences.symphonia_babyThanks for being level-headed, but unfortunately, 99% of SW will disagree with you profusely.
I don't have a DS, but I would like to play that game. You are using hotel dusk, as one of the highlights of the DS's software library?

PSP has been flooded with craptastic PS2 ports and mostly uninspired original games. There are a few bright spots here and there (Lumines, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops) but those great games are so few and far between they don't make the purchase worth it for a lot of people. That being said, PSP still has a lot of potential.
DS has a higher number of great games in spite of the fact that it too has a lot of crappy games among its library. Nintendo seems to have a knack for knowing what people want to play on the go and so there are many more DS titles handheld gamers are interested in.
Are they equal? Nah. One has potential and the other has games.
Hotel Dusk is one of the best games on the DS. :|You are using hotel dusk, as one of the highlights of the DS's software library?

That isn't legal.I think the PSP is better cuz I can play PS1, SNES, Sega Genesis, and CPS2 games on my PSP. But I still want to get a DS lite cuz of The new Super Mario Bros. game on it and the sonic and megaman games on it.

At least I can still enjoy the classics on a portable device that I can take with me anywhere.I think the PSP is better cuz I can play PS1, SNES, Sega Genesis, and CPS2 games on my PSP. When I said I play PS1 games on my PSP I mean any and every game from PS1 on my PSP. I don't own a PS3 and I don't pay for squat. I would never spend more than $400 on a console unless if it was worth it. Right now I am playing Megaman X4-6 and FF VII from the PS1 on my PSP.BigB10123
Yeah I just got FFVII rollin' on my PSP (I OWN IT already, so everyone can settle). BTW, it's sick as hell playin' it on there. I think the graphics even look slightly sharper than I remember
