DS has had better gen than all consoles!

The Nintendo DS has had the best generation so far, better than the PS3/360/Wii. It has the best library, has sold the most units,

and will continue to sell units for the next 3-5 years. For those without a DS, you truly have yet to experience this generation of gaming!

I'm with you, but most people dismiss it because of its outdated hardware.

Since Pokemon Gold & Silver remake is on the way, there's only two games left on my "dream list"

• A New Star Fox

I agree I wish I didn't sell my DS. There a tons of JRPGs I want to pick up for it. I probably pick up another DS towards the end of the year.

I'm going to agree with the TC, the DS along with my PS2, are my best video game purchases ever.

Why do most people here in System Wars ignore the handheld consoles!? It's almost all about TV consoles & the ocassional PC! I do agree with your observation. The DS has the biggest library (at least regarding good games), most consoles sold, & it actually appeals to practically anyone!

By the way, Nintendo needs to enforce the same advantages & content for the Wii, if they want their former core fanbase to support them forever &/or to establish a near-monopoly on the videogame market.

I have to say the DS is the most horrible system i have ever picked up. I laugh at my brothers PSP, but ill at least try and sneak a play on it once in a while.

Other than the occasional Mario 2d platformer I cant imagine why id even LOOK at my DS

The DS is better than PS3, 360 and Wii perhaps but it has a long way to beat the PS2.

I agree whole-heartedly with the TC. The DS is, hands-down, simply one of the best sytems I've ever played. Hell, probably THE best.

Are the graphics as good as the PSP's? No - but graphics don't matter much to me, anyway. The greatest thing about the DS is that developers embraced the touch-screen mechanics and the dual screens very quickly, so now DS players have a wealth of truly innovative and FUN exclusive games.

Agreed. The consistency at which good games get released on the system is unmatched.

I mean what's not to like. Portable, cheap with cheap games, and the best library this gen.

It was until I got up to 30+ owned DS games that I realized I have too much, and the good games just wouldn't stop coming either... I had to call it quits for buying DS games. It has been since 2007 now, but I think if I'm gonna buy more, I should trade in some first. lol
I think it's pretty self-explanatory if you know anything about the DS, that it has a wonferful library.

I like it but I cant really get into hand held games as much these days. I got bored of FF IV and I have Crono Trigger waiting for me.
