I am a total fan of the DS. But handheld =/= console. You are comparing hockey to baseball.Darthmatt
DQ9 went to DS, and not a home console.

There weren't a lot of parallels between the GameBoy and other Nintendo systems, but the DS and Wii share a lot in the way of philosophy and marketing. Ditto with the PSP and PS3.
[QUOTE="ninjiijitsu"]Ds got FF7?deadmeat59i think they get a spin off of it kinda like the ff3 game
The DS got a a FF12 spin off. And the a FF3 remake.

It's not about that you guess, that's it. Well, whatever.
It's only a matter of time before M$ releases a handheld. And Nintendo will own it just like it's owning the PSP.Number_1_Gamerms said they wont but even if they did even psp and gba would crush it . ms lost lots of money on xbox there not going to wastes dev time and more money when there main system is not doing well . gba has 80 million ds has 40 million psp has over 20 millon if they did put out and hand held they would be way behide and would never catche up in sales .

There weren't a lot of parallels between the GameBoy and other Nintendo systems, but the DS and Wii share a lot in the way of philosophy and marketing. Ditto with the PSP and PS3. They both perform the same function, but handhelds are totally different because the are more accessable. I used a sports analogy for a reason. Both are game systems, but one does not eqaul the other.

i think that being more then 2 times a head in sales and have much more high selling games means its being owned . only one game on psp sold over a 1million in usa and 6 ds games did thatDS didn't own PSP.
The PSP penetrated the market and is here to stay. That's all it needed to do to take a load from N. They aren't seeing the same numbers they did with their GB series.Â
Actually, they are. 40 million in 2 years is better than what any of the GameBoy series managed.DS didn't own PSP.
