ds vs. psp!!!

Dumb thread. But oh well, I'll bite. I prefer the games on the DS, and the style of it. There are some reeeeally nice looking games on PSP....but Lumines is my favourite game on the platform, and I have that on PS2. Next would be BoF 3, but I have that for PS1.

Oh and FPS are practically impossible on PSP...but golden on the DS. That's imo ofcourse. 

the psp is by far the best handheld on the market , i dont see how people fail to see that anyways its just my opinion and here are my reasons:

a) mp3 player b) movie player c)jpeg and other picture format viewer and editor d) the graphis are the best on the market e) very stylish f)some good games right now , more on the way i.e FF crisis core, FF tactics, MGS acid series and the new one, Tekken , cool puzzle games and darkstalkers etc and in my opinion it has a longer life time because right now its all it needs and theres no handheld out there spec wise/functionality wise thats able to beat it so there will be people who will keep on buying it and there will always be a steady flow of games f) wifi and an actual full fledged internet browser g) LAST but not least is the home brew scene , you can play PSX games, PSP ISOs , change themes/skins/icons , change faceplates and add new plug ins n stuff to make it even better i.e FM radio. h) new and quick firmware updates keep the software in top shape and keep adding more functionality to it i) ps3 and psp connectivity

what you get with the DS are "innovative" games like cooking mama, taruma centre, that virtual pet game and different themed mario game. And for all those who think that all that functionality in the PSP is a watse keep this in mind that nintendo plans to come out with extra hardware that adds the same functionality to the DS and i wouldnt be surprised the least if nintendos next handheld had all these features.

That seems like a really crappy product. The PSP is already a bad MP3 player and the DS would be an even worse one.

That seems like a really crappy product. The PSP is already a bad MP3 player and the DS would be an even worse one.

i wouldnt call it crappy ,its solid but not the best , good speakers/headphones can help alot 

sorry, but the DS vs. PSP war is pretty much over in System Wars. Everyone either agrees that DS is better or doesn't say anything to avoid being flamed.chutup

i agree man , its got powerstone on it ,a new version of painkillers coming out Q2 2k7, viewtiful joe, GT,GTA,socom,burnout,ace combat ,puzzle bobble, all the emulators work on it (snes, sega,mame) and thegames are like 20$ a pop sheesh
